Ok. Not the best but far from the worst!
Good location, decent facilities, rooms clean and tidy. We visited mid-October and whilst I appreciate its nearing the end of the season, the hotel was understaffed on reception and in the bar area resulting in queues.
Average experience; far from awful but could use a few improvements to make it better.
A fantastic hotel
A lovely hotel always very clean and efficient. The staff are of a very high standard and make sure you are looked after. The bar price very reasonable and the food on the restaurant is very good.
Disappointing unfortunately
The location of this hotel is excellent, the vibe is chill and relaxed, maybe a little too relaxed. The rooms are definitely in need of an update, our shower wouldn't stay up so was almost impossible for hair washing (long haired female). There were two double beds in the room, made up separately but pushed together which made no sense on any level. One bed would have left room for a table and small couch/ armchair and would be far roomier and more comfortable! Value for money was quite good as was the cleanliness of the hotel, housekeeping are to be commended, they were always friendly and willing to help and are possibly the best thing about this hotel. Noise was not a problem for us and the amenities were reasonable, however from the minute we arrived our door card did not work and apparently no one was able or willing to fix it which meant we were constantly up and down to reception and waiting on maintenance. I sincerely hope that the next people who get that room are not as patient as we were.
Good after we got a nice room
It was a lovely hotel .large rooms with two double beds. We did not originally like it as we booked a standard room which was not good. There was no view only a brick wall. But we got moved on 2nd day and it was very good after that. So I will never book a standard room again.
