Avoid this hotel at all cost.My wife and I severe sickness and diarrhoea. We were all inclusive and only drank and and ate there.Jet 2 should remove this from there listings
DONT IGNORE THE REVIEWS LIKE I DID. THE BUG IS REAL!!!!! you won't be able to leave your room as the symptoms are severe. Travel companies need to step in and sort this hygiene problem, if not take it off their listing!!!
Stayed here all inclusive and only ate and drank at this hotel. All seemed ok initially until after the first night 3 out of 4 of us took it in turns to have severe vomiting and diarrhoea with aches. I told the reception who didn’t seem concerned and just told me where the nearest pharmacy was. No one checked in on my family and the hotel ignored the holiday company who I had booked withs request to change hotels as we didn’t want to eat or drink there again. My family wouldn’t eat from there after and I thought o was ok until I arrived home and had sickness and aches. The illness seems to last 24 hours and seeing other reviews is obviously from this hotel but they don’t/wont take responsibility. Don’t read reviews and risk it…AVOID!
I absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel! A few days before our flight, we read several reviews from people saying that they had gotten food poisoning, but we still thought, “Let’s go and see, maybe it’s not actually that bad.” Huge mistake. After only two days at the hotel, I got food poisoning. I would especially recommend avoiding the seafood. I’m pretty sure the problem was with the hotel food, as we didn’t eat anywhere else during the first three days of our stay. We paid for the all-inclusive option, which honestly ended up being a complete waste of money. Cocktails cost extra, and the food was sometimes so bad that we had to eat outside the hotel. As for the staff, maybe two of the waiters speak English, while most of the others were quite unfriendly and rude. The only genuinely friendly staff were the housekeepers. They don’t speak English, but they were so kind and helpful that somehow we always managed to communicate. The only thing I can praise is the rooms — they were clean and well maintained. However, the hotel was way too noisy. We stayed there at the end of August, and there were a lot of children. They were running through the hallways, playing in the elevators, and unfortunately, you could hear all of it from the rooms. If you’re staying near the pool, they give you paper cups that start falling apart after just five minutes. Another major problem was the air conditioning in the room. You can’t adjust the temperature yourself because there is no individual AC unit in the room — the entire hotel uses one central system. So you basically have only two options: freeze during the night or be too hot. One day, we got sun loungers in the VIP area, and we were really disappointed by how dirty they were — covered in dust and sand. The free sun loungers by the pool are located on grass that clearly hadn’t been mowed in several weeks. Overall, my experience was very disappointing, and I definitely would not recommend this hotel.
Good hotel , mainly nice food. A shame that a sickness and diarrhoea bug ran through our entire party (18). The hotel did a lot of cleaning. The majority of staff were friendly. There were not enough plastic glasses for poolside drinks, you are. One was offered paper Pepsi cups which really aren’t suitable for a G&T., especially in a 4 star hotel.
