Located in Benalmadena, in a residential area just 200 m from the beach and Malaga Airport is about 8 km away. This hotel is 2 km from the city centre and its many shops and entertainment areas while the stunning Marina City is only 1 km away. The hotel offers a cosy bar, a souvenir shop, a TV room and a restaurant. The hotel also offers laundry service and the younger guests will be entertained at the kids' club and playground. The hotel boasts a water park, with a lake pool and water games for children. For the younger ones there are two animal-shaped pools, a shark and sea serpent, a mushroom-shaped shower and a tower with two water slides and a splash bucket that will make for an exciting holiday.
We’ve had the best week! The kids and adults were happy and relaxed joined the que at 9 for sun beds always got a bed where we would like, slides and pools are a huge plus for this hotel! food variety was good we have seriously very fussy eaters in our group and everyone had something the pudding had so much variety with themed nights and chocolate fountain! We were excited to see what was on offer each day! Pools, games , adult activities and kids club all fabulous with plenty to do if you fancy, we have a variety age group 18 year old and 10 & 5 year all were entertained and happy, workers/ staff are so friendly and welcoming. Rooms are fairly sized we sleep in it so not much need for massive space, beds were comfy and rooms are clean with daily freshen up and noticeable clean, cleaners work hard for sure. There is ques snack bar especially when it opens but they work so hard to clear it but we just either joined the queue or waited till around 2 and it was dead, We’ve really enjoyed every part of this holiday it’s what we expected and more. The holiday is really what you make it, we’ve done a few things off site and then come back for snacks and lunch and again always able to find a sun bed. We will be back :)
Just got back from a weeks stay as a family with a 5 year old. Pros......check in was a breeze with great staff, everything explained, bands on for the all inclusive and given the room keys and told what floor.staff really are nice. First impression room basic but clean with everything you need as we didnt plan spending much time in there other than sleep and shower.Air con was really cold. Grandson absolutely loved the pools and slides they really do work well for guests. Big choice of food, how some of these reviews say it was the same thing everyday must have just looked at the toppings on the pizza and the chips.there are different things every night and had some great varied meals, the beef cheeks were really good.yes there is pasta and rice and a potato variation but isnt that what you have with a meal!! Lad enjoyed the kids club a few times, really good entertainment for the youngsters he loved it and the staff are great. Evening mini disco he loved and varied things on if you wanted to stay in the hotel every night for entertainment but we like to have a look around aswell.
Cons.....sunbeds,if you want a sunbed on the edge of the pool, join the looney queue from 8 till 9 at the door.then the door opens to the path to the pool.then they queue from 9 till 10 till the gates open to the pool.what a great way to start ya holiday.we went up at ten and got beds to the left or right of the pools no problem.you may have to move a bit more to watch your kids thats all.have a look at the funny tik tok videos hilarious.
Pools are opened to general public as day passes which includes food,so probably the reason the pool bar gets really busy and causes the queues.needs organising better for it run smoothly. Some bar staff bit grumpy but seeing some of the manner they have to deal with so its understandable. Bit of a wait for the lifts at peak times but thats all the negativity we can say really and would definitely return .
Cannot recommend this place enough. The food was unbelievable, fresh and local and something different every day. Great slides and pool, sometimes hard to find a sun lounger . Room was clean and comfortable- requested a quiet room on the website for no extra charge and we werent disturbed at all.Less than 5 minute walk to the beach, great markets at night. Our 9 and 12 year old loved it, whole family agree we will book again for next year.
Okay, where to begin. We have stayed in many family hotels in Spain and have to say this is the worst. We came here for 7 nights all inclusive. The bar service: not all the menu is included, neither is the ice creams. It seems before the summer holidays the slush was included but not anymore. Drinks are pre-made. Service can be slow. Very slow at times. Snack bar: I waited an hour, yes an hour, for food. Snack bar food is, in our opinion, better than the restaurant food. Restaurant food: if you love chips, mash, pork, pasta and pizza this is the place for you. Otherwise you'll struggle, as did we. Food is about average, sometimes below average. The worst choice I have experience in a hotel. Room: not clean at all. Floors covered in long dark hair and other hairs. I advise taking some slippers/flip flops to wear. Walls are not the thickest so you hear your neighbours at the side and above you. Luckily we just had shouting parents and snoring. They could do with a refurbishment but ok, despite the hairs. Beds aren't the comfiest. Air con isn't the coldest. Tokens: you have to take your token or empty cup to be served during the day, if no cup/token- no service. Cost effective really as there's no "glass collecter" staff. Entertainment: mini disco is fine for younger kids and there are some activities during the day for them. Pools: pools are great and why we booked this hotel in the first place Brill for younger kids who can access and walk around in the splash pool. Sunbeds: if you like queing for a sunbed, this is the hotel for you, you're lucky if you get one (plus the hotel has day passes for the "water park" which makes it even more busier. Overall grounds: needs a good clean in my opinion. Saw a fella clean the floor and sunbeds with a cigarette in his mouth then proceed to throw the cigarette on the floor...make it make sense. We went all inc. Would not recommend unless you like eating the same for tea as you had for lunch. Overall, we wouldnt come back. It's ok, a budget holiday. Highly recommend eating at lime and lemon, the Italian on the same strip, a trip to bio parc and into town. Taxi service from the hotel is quick and efficient.
In July, my family and I enjoyed a lovely holiday at this hotel. The transfer from the airport was quick and easy, and the hotel was the first drop-off.
Our room was ready when we arrived. It was a clean, basic family room with two double beds, a TV and a bathroom. We also had a small balcony overlooking the main roundabout and the hotel’s drop-off and pick-up point. This may bother some people, but it didn’t bother us at all — we actually enjoyed people-watching from three floors up!
The hotel has a nice, large reception area, with an entertainment section, bar and dining area on the lower level. The pools were clean and there were some great slides for both children and adults. Our children are 10 and 9, and the slides were perfect for them, although teenagers may be looking for something a little more exciting.
There were plenty of sunbeds. Some people queued to get sunbeds right beside the pools, but we were more than happy to sit around the corner, away from the crowds. The snack bar was good, serving chips, hot dogs and burgers, and there was also a nice bar with a good selection of drinks. We were all-inclusive and thought the food was good overall — we really couldn’t fault it. Coffee machines were also available for guests to make their own coffee throughout the day.
The hotel is situated just off what I would call the main strip of Benalmádena, around a 15-minute walk from the harbour. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby, so there is lots of choice.
We visited the harbour on a few evenings during our stay. It was lovely, although very busy. We also walked to the local park, which I think was up behind McDonald’s. It was really nice and even had a little shop selling refreshments.
We also spent a day at Aqualand, which was a great family day out, although very hot! Make sure you wear your slides/flip-flops when walking around and leave them at the bottom of the rides, as the ground gets incredibly hot and your feet will burn.
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and I would definitely recommend Benalmádena as a destination. My husband and I have even talked about going back one day — perhaps without the girls this time!
