Will not be back!
Came here last week and I can honestly say its the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Ants in the room, no tea facilities in the room, everytime a bedroom door is closed it literally shakes the entire corridor, cant take towels to the pool, cant eat snack food on your sun bed, swim up bar is not included in all inclusive, pool freezing, not allowed kids floats/ balls in the pool, lifts are temperamental, some staff are very rude in the restaurant. The food was an okay choice but very repetitive, public areas clean and tidy, some of the entertainment was worth watching especially the magic show, he was very good.

Great hotel if you know what to expect from a 3 star ⭐⭐⭐
Stayed for 5 nights/6 days. The hotel itself is better then other 3 star hotels we have stayed in other countries,the staff are helpful,rooms are perfect for a 3 star ,you do pay for a kettle but it's only €5 for a week. Cleaners came in every day,to make beds etc. Food is fine if you know what to expect from a 3 star and was always hot and fresh. If your looking for variety then your in the wrong star hotels but it was always lovely,again we've stayed in worser 3 stars. Toast machine is perfect only waited for it to go round once for the toast to be fully toasted 😁 Adequate sunbeds for all. No issues whatsoever with this hotel and would highly recommend.

Terrible hotel
On my arrival I was asked if I wanted to upgrade my room and stay in the main hotel and was charged 68 euros and I assumed that I would be getting a nicer room I was so wrong and the room was old looking and needed painting and the bed sheets were stained and the bedside table was broken and I complained to reception and they gave me another room to look at and it was terrible too and I refused to move rooms and the staff promised me that they would sort the issues and make them right , 3 days later and still nothing done and no offer of any refund . The food is not the best either unfortunately, the only good thing about this hotel is the staff. I will never stay here again
Down hill
Check in’s a joke, not a lot of choice for evening meal, glasses in the restaurant are dirty. Most of the safe are rude! Paid extra for a pool view was more a street view. Jet2 requested a little bit extra due to the reason we went to Benidorm, got nothing. Rooms are small, but clean. Didn’t stay in the hotel enough to comment on the entertainment. Location Is good. I wouldn’t return back to the peli, which is a shame as this is the only hotel I went to has a child and back then it was amazing.
Don't believe the bad reviews
I have just come back from a long weekend (3 nights) here for my friends 50th birthday and we had a great time. Honestly I really do believe people give bad reviews for the sake of it. My honest opinion of this hotel is tge following.
- Food
We stayed half board and due to our flight times and plans we had 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner. Choice for all meals was so much. Breakfast plenty of to choose from if you wanted a full cooked breakfast or continental style or just fruit there was so much choice. For the cooked breakfast all food was cooked well and was hot. Lunch and dinner was the same, plenty of choice ranging from salads meat fish vegetables there was something for everyone. Plates were always cleared away quickly when finished with. No complaints about the food at all.
- Pool area
As everyone knows the star of this hotel is the pool, it is huge but was freezing which is probably to be expected being mid October. The pool area i thought was very clean, yes a few old tiles but nothing that would cause any danger to anyone. The smaller pool on the Ocas side again very clean and this one is a sun trap. I can jmagine it would be very hot in the heights of summer. The token situation was a bit odd, never experienc ed having to exchange a token for a cup in the pool bar area. I don't know if it is the case with the inside bar as the only time we used that was for complimentary drinks.
- Staff
The staff were very helpful always very pleasant and friendly. The staff in the restaurant work their socks off and really deserve to be praised. We came back to our room the day of my friends birthday and the staff had left her a little card and some complimentary drinks vouchers for her birthday which was very kind o1f them.
- Communal Areas
I thought the reception areas lounging areas and bar areas were well kept always presentable and clean.
- Lifts
So many reviews on this hotel have complained about the lifts being too slow and not working. What people forget is that this hotel has 15 floors so they are going to take a few minutes to come. The lifts were all working during our stay, yes they took a few minutes to come but as I said to be expected.
- Location
Fantastic location, everything on your doorstep, bars, restaurants, cafes, clubs you couldn't wish for better.
- Room
We stayed on the Pelicanos side of the hotel in room 527 overlooking the pool areac and The Flash Hotel next door, and the room would be my only negative about my stay here. Bed was comfortable for me as i like a hard matress. There was plenty of storage and wardrobe space but the decor could do with a bit of a spruce up. You have lovely white nice furniture, good lighting but grubby walls. Some of the paint was chipped on the walls so could do with a fresh coat of paint. The balcony was small but did the job. We had the room cleaned every day with clean towels every day. The towels are a good size but we're a bit threadbare and could do with updating.
Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would probably return but with so many hotels to choose from in Benidorm it may ve a few years. But next i hope the room would be a better standard
