RH Royal - Adults Only

My partner and I enjoyed two lovely weeks at this fantastic hotel. Rooms are absolutely spotless, bar and restaurant staff are lovely - especially the bar staff. So friendly and great fun. The food is without a doubt the best I have ever experienced. The pool area is spotless with lots off sunbeds, and there is a solarium area too which, although a bit off a suntrap, is lovely and peaceful. Yes, there are the usual sunbed grabbers who place towels on sunbeds and then disappear for hours. During the first week, the two sunbeds next to us near the pool steps were empty from 9.30am until we left ours at 3pm however, this is a common problem in every resort. The only complaint I have is that during our second week, my partner found a 50 Euro note on the dining room floor. He handed it into the woman in charge of the area that evening, not the usual lady, and it was agreed that if it was not claimed, he would get the money back to donate to a local charity - Namely Hugo's Home Farm which features regularly on Bargain Loving Brits In The Sun. The money was NOT claimed yet, she refused to hand it over, going so far as to avoid us by ducking into the kitchen any time she was on duty. My partner eventually brought this to the attention off the Hotel Receptionist on duty a couple of days before we left however, we heard no more about it. My partner also had a big birthday during our stay - 70th - and he was "gifted" two children's lollipops to celebrate!!! However, this would not in any way put me off returning to the hotel and I recommend it without hesitation.

Lovely five nights stay at this hotel. Food and drinks were very good, we were AI and premium drinks included.

Room was very small but lovely and clean. You need to request an iron if needed, house keeping brought one to the room very quickly.

The sun beds around the pool area was small and overcrowded. There were notices attached to all sun beds to advise that sun beds could not be reserved. This was not observed and towels were out on the sun beds very early. The sun beds and pool area was in the shade early afternoon. We were glad that there was a sun terrace one floor up and most days we were the only ones there.

Free WIFI, pool towels available 10 euros deposit per towel, safe in the room FOC. The lift was incredibly slow, not a problem for us we took the stairs but not great if you have a disability.

The hotel was in a great location,. The staff were all very friendly, big thank you for a lovely holiday.
