I travelled with a fractured ankle and requested a shower room . We got the shower room (with a stool) which made showering very easy. We also had a room 2 doors away from the lifts. Our room was lovely with a corner balcony , on the main road but any noise never disturbed us. The beds were so comfortable, every night we slept well. The cleaner was very efficient ! The restaurant was beyond our expectations. Every meal (we were full board) was excellent, lots of choices, well presented and so well cooked. It was lovely to always see vegetables. My favourite jelly every day , my husband had desserts every day !! The restaurant staff were always helpful and very busy, smiling and chatty ‘ Everyone we came across from the outside bar and reception were helpful and friendly . The hotel itself is spotless. We never used the pool because of my ankle. All in all with my injury it was a great holiday , so much that we’ve now booked for May next year, when we can also go to the music lounge !! Looking forward to coming back 😀😀😀
We had a really enjoyable stay at the Riviera Hotel. The hotel is great value, clean, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and it's situated in a great location, with a friendly atmosphere throughout. The terrace is a particularly nice place to sit and relax with a drink.
A special mention has to go to Luciana, who looked after us on the terrace. Her service was fantastic throughout. She was friendly, attentive and always welcoming. She really went out of her way to make sure we were looked after and is a real credit to the hotel.
Overall, we had a very positive experience and would happily stay here again.
Just returned from a lovely week. We arrived very late but guy who checked us in was great and hotel had provided a food pack each for us. We were 5th floor overlooking and Rossamar hotel. Room was clean, beds comfy and great shower room. No noise a night once doors closed so slept really well.
Restaurant is lovely, and the waiting staff work so hard. Food is good quality.
Although we love sitting on the terrace out the front of the hotel, I didn’t like the loud music playing all day and night. Sometimes we just wanted a quiet drink but the noise was just too much.
Bear in mind, if it rains, this hotel has nowhere decent inside to sit. Everything is focussed on the outside terrace.
The pool area is small and doesn’t get the sun until after lunch however it was quiet and there was always plenty of beds so it suited us well.
It is closing Nov 2026 until next spring for refurbishment. Looking forward to seeing the changes as we will definitely return.
Room 3 floor music from 12 mid day to 5pm noisy boon boon if u like that sort of thing . Benidorm strip tacky noisy sun beds being moved 1am to 3 am patio been showed plus noise from party goers all night. Difficult t relax during day..boon boon music. Hotel lovely staff lovely food good . Music lounge great entertainment wonderful. Relaxing small pool but big enough. Cleaning staff excellent good service..
I'd normally stay at the hotel next door, but part of my required week wasn't available, well I'm so glad it wasn't, because I got to stay at this wonderful gem of a hotel, and this is where I will be staying on my future visits to Benidorm, which is a regular occurrence. I checked into the Riviera on 8th October. I booked directly with the hotel,as it was a better price. I requested a room on a low floor, and I was very lucky to get one,as it's not guaranteed. Check in was dealt with quickly, by the friendly receptionist. The beds are very comfortable, and the room, lovely and clean. There's a decent size flat screen TV on the wall with a few English TV channels There's a fridge, kettle, cups, and complimentary tea/coffee,which can be topped up daily for a small fee. I take my own teabags,so didn't use them. Also, there's a plug socket which is situated by the mirror, which was a bonus,as there isn't in some places I've stayed. There's plenty of hanging space, and sheving/drawers to put your clothes. There's a nice balcony with a table and 2 chairs, and a drying rack on the walk. I got a walk in shower, and was supplied with shampoo and shower gel, that was topped up daily, along the clean towels and toilet rolls. There's also a hairdryer on the walk, and a shaver socket, along with a stool to sit on in the shower if yiu are unsteady on your feet, with the added bonus of grab rails. There were plenty of choices for lunch, which is served from 1pm,and it was piping hot. The restaurant is lovely and peaceful, unlike some of the hotels I've stayed in, that have been like a cattle market. There's a very pleasant terrace at the front of the hotel, where you can get an excellent quality cup of coffee or cold a cold drink/beer.They play some lovely music, and it's a bonus that it's a suntrap. Dinner is served at the moment(changes according to season)from 7pm,and there are plenty of choice suit everyone Downstairs,in the Riviera lounge, there are some excellent tribute acts on,and a daily game of bingo. If you're on your own, there's no need to even venture out of the hotel of an evening,if you're nervous. Its a brilliant night's entertainment. I had an excellent night's sleep and was up early for breakfast. I always have Weetabix for breakfast ,which I was able to enjoy here for the first 4 days, but sadly, was told there weren't any left,so I didn't get any for the rest of my stay, along with the English tea bags,so I had to wait till I got back to my room for a cup of tea, as I didn't like the other ones in there. This, was my only small complaint ,maybe trivial to others, but I was disappointed none the less. There's a small but adequate walk in swimmpool round the back, with some nice patio furniture and beds. The sun doesn't get round by the pool till the afternoon, but I preferred this. There are a few beds on the walk through to the pool that get the sun all day,but I didn't feel the need. There's also a phone by the pool where you can ring for bar service which was a nice little perk. The hotel is ideally situated close to the strip, but far way enough to escape the noise. The staff throughout the hotel are very pleasant and helpful. I had an early flight ,so i booked an alarm call with reception for the next morning, and then was able to have the continental breakfast available from 7.30am,which was most satisfactory. If you need anything fron the shop,I find the best one is turn left out of hotel, snd its the last shop on the row past the Flash hotel, the lady is very friendly, and doesn't rip you off. I got my euros out if the indoor market which is situated at the end of the street past the shop I just mentioned. This way,you dont get ripped off. As stated previously, I will be returning to this hotel everything I come to Benidorm. Unfortunately, it is closed from mid November till mid June for refurbishment, so sadly will have to stay somewhere else during this period. The added bonus for me was,it's adult only(recommended),and as I go way to chill and relax, this hotel was an excellent choice. See you in July. Thank you to Team Riviera Beach.
