Nice holiday some disappointments
Stayed for 6 nights with family including a toddler. Hotel is very clean, reception staff were excellent, very friendly. Room was perfect, again very clean and good air conditioning. Housekeeping were great each day. Stayed on 10th floor overlooking the pool which was nice, issue with lift taking a long time and we had no alternative as we had a toddler and pram. I contacted the hotel in advance advising that I am a coeliac and require gluten free food (we stayed full board), and had read reviews complimenting the availability of gluten free foods. The first day I arrived, the head waiter wrote a note in a book that I am a coeliac and gave me some gluten free bread, unfortunately this was so hard I could not eat it. They also checked with the chef to see what I could eat, thankfully the paella was gluten free which I was pleased with, I just wish the chips were gluten free too. I was excited that I had some other choices for food in the buffet but this declined as the week went on. I found it exhausting having to ask every time I went to the restaurant to see what I could have. Even if it was the same waiter, they didn't tell me what was gluten free without me having to ask, which seems different to other people's experience. They also kept some gluten free breakfast foods such as cereal, croissants etc, but this was also tiring having to ask every day for food, without having the choice infront of me. I wish this food was on display so I could help myself without asking for it, it would also help me with my choice to see the food infront of me. The foods changed each day for breakfast and lunch, some days there was very little I could eat, even one of the days the paella was made with pasta so it was unsafe. I arrived at 7pm for dinner one night, we were one of the first ones there. There was not many safe foods and anything there was was not to my liking. I asked the head waiter for gluten free pasta, she told me it would be 15 or 20 minutes and I had no issue with that. After about 35 or 40 minutes, I approached her again to ask if it was ready, I was concerned that maybe I had missed it and the waiter couldn't find me. She was quite rude and explained how busy they were and that it would take 15 or 20 minutes, even though this time had doubled already. I felt like an inconvenience and it put me off asking for anything again. Pasta does not take long to cook, I felt like everyone else was a priority. The evening before we were due to go home, I asked at reception about getting breakfast the following morning to take away as we were leaving early and they had a sign about facilitating picnics for guests. The man explained that cold continental breakfast would be available from 530 or 6am, it is just the hot food that is available from 8am. He advised that we could go ahead the following morning before 8am and help ourselves. We arrived at the restaurant at 7.50am and were refused breakfast because it wasn't 8am we tried to explain that reception said we could get breakfast but there was a language barrier. We went ahead and lifted some bananas and yogurts and left.
Overall this is a nice hotel, the food would be good if dietary requirements are not an issue. I felt disappointed by the choice on most of the days and would have found it easier if allergens were on display at each dish.
The children's pool area was great and the pool staff were friendly and helpful.

A great hotel absolutely spotless and a great bunch of staff who make it stand out from the rest,the food was very yummy and catered for all types of people,children had a ball with clubs and discos on offer and a big shout out to the domestic staff that kept the rooms in pristine condition

Excellent family holiday
Just back from a fantastic week with my family , we had an outstanding time , The staff were fantastic , Room was fantastic and kept immaculate , frequent towel and bedding changes, Service staff do an excellent job , a special mention to the dinning room staff , my grandson has a severe dairy allergy and once notified the staff went out of their way to ensure we were aware of what he could and couldnt have , they went above and beyond to cater for him, even making him seperate meals , they made what was an anxious time for meals so much safer and relaxed for him . The childrens entertaintment staff were warm and welcoming and very inclusive , .

Very good
Location is good, but have to go up short hill, food and drink very good, staff brilliant, only criticism is the rooms nowhere to put underwear, tshirts etc, no drawer space, so one double wardrobe had to put everything squashed up in there. Could quite easily have some drawers under the dressing table thingy, where fridge is, apart from that really annoying thing was nice hotel

Benidorm RH Princesa
Benidorm Halloween in prep with witches hats, cobwebs and pumpkins! Smart and impressed staff all departments, good size family room on 15 th floor and weather warm for all of 5 days till breaks end. No mini-bar no problems took all inclusive silver band with basic creamed cappuccinos and draught beer and soft drinks regular bed straightening and towel and tea/coffee refills all mess cleaned up with a smile hola all round. Mostly couples and a few families joining during half terms I presume. Not so cheap as previous TUIs breaks but as all things today price increases inevitable, pool outdoors free and spa facilities at cost but as most tourists say goodfood and a bed are no1 priority and RH group knows the job.Only one end note TUI used sub-contractor on the transport and walk two hundred yards for drop and pick-up ?go figure ?
