Flash hotel Benidorm

The location of the Flash Hotel was excellent, right in the heart of everything and within easy reach of all the nightlife. It’s directly opposite Morgan’s Tavern and only a short walk from the main strip.

Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. Some members of staff were ignorant and rude, which really took away from the overall experience. The cleanliness was also not what you would expect from a four-star hotel.

The towels in our room were ripped, torn and stained, which was particularly disappointing. We also noticed cockroaches around the pool area and in some of the downstairs areas of the hotel.

Overall, the location is fantastic, but the standard of service, cleanliness and maintenance definitely did not live up to what we would expect from a four-star hotel.

Perfect location Only used the restaurant but very relaxing atmosphere. Rooms had just what was needed probably just milks and teas should be filled up daily but when asked they were given. Value ok. Noise level when door was shut was fine. Cleanliness was good.

First and last time in Benidorm … usually go to Costa del Sol , but family were going to a different hotel that has children and I only do adult only so decided to book flash hotel. We stayed for a week and just got back today 2/9/2026. Firstly some of the staff are very ignorant rude and abrupt and never smile . The only good thing about the hotel is the entertainment girl Millie.. a breath of fresh air and got everyone involved in games around pool and we had such a laugh. The pool bar bar tender ( blonde hair, young ) very pleasant , he was the nicest bar tender and actually smiled . The dining room was cramped and not big enough for all its guests and tables were not cleared and to get someone to do it took ages as the waiter and waitress as I only saw 2 on at breakfast and dinner and they were running around trying to get things done. Food wasn’t up to my standard and there was not much choice ( I’m a pescatarian) and the fish was usually over or under cooked . I lived on tuna salads for first 4 days until they changed the tuna to mackerel which I hate . Breakfast was ok but everything was cooked in oil (omelettes ) so I had to blot the oil out with a few napkins before eating . From a 4.5 hotel I did expect more than one restaurant. Our room was not great. Went to reception on first day and said our fridge didn’t work and also our shower never worked . They sent a maintenance man up and he just unplugged the fridge and we kept telling the reception that we need a fridge and a shower . We got a fridge on Monday and shower was working on the third day . The towels were very hard and the bath mat I never saw after the first night so we had to put towel down then getting out of bath . Also our tea cups were just left dirty and they kept taking my silk pillow case of the pillow , sheets were not changed all week . We were told that we would have to pay €5 every time we wanted to have more tea bags and milk and sugar so we just bought our own . Also pool towels were €10 each refundable which i expect , but then they told us we will need to pay €5 each on top for laundry of the towels . I have never come across this in any hotel I have ever stayed at and this is my 7 th holiday this year . Lifts were a problem , the larger of the three was always out of order so 2 small very small lifts were constantly in use and ques of people all the time . I asked if they did oat milk and could I buy an iced late.. they had oat milk in the restaurant but couldn’t make me an iced coffee. So the receptionist told me to go and get one outside the hotel and told me several where I could get one . So I walked and walked and everything was closed as it was Sunday . I went back to hotel and said did she know it was Sunday and everything is closed. She just shrugged her shoulders and smiled. Overall I read the reviews before I booked and they were mostly 5 so was really looking forward to my stay , This is the first time in all my holidays ( and I travel a lot) that I was happy to be going home .
