Perfect hotel/great location
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Don Pancho. Superior room was perfect, lovely sea view from the balcony. Plenty of choice food wise. Didn’t need to queue for sun lounges (although there was a queue at breakfast time waiting for the doors to the pool to be opened 😂) Stephan always managed to get us loungers and parasols. Staff all very helpful. We will definitely be returning!

Not the best atmosphere
The location of this hotel is perfect 👌 right in the middle of it all. The rooms are pleasant enough nothing special, clean and bright with good balcony. The atmosphere is extremely quiet catering for the older generation. Value for money we paid £1,400 for 4 nights and for this is was expecting something special. The pool area is small the music is low and i think it got totally turned off at one point. Lots of rules around the pool with regards to reservation of beds and you are not allowed to smoke or vape. The smokers and vapers are segregated into a corner area of seating. The food is lovely I could not fault anything with regards to quality and presentation. The staff are friendly and helpful apart from the pool attendant he is quite abrupt. Overall not the best atmosphere.
Amazing 2nd stay
Just returned today from a 2nd amazing stay at the Don Pancho. We usually stay at another hotel close by, however we tried the Don Pancho in December, having had such a good time we booked for July. The hotel And staff did not disappoint, we have already booked for next year. The rooms are a great standard and plenty of storage, the balconies all face the sea and are sizeable with great reclining chairs and footstools and the sound proofing is amazing. The food was great, staff were friendly but still professional, the hotel was immaculate. Before our visit we did read some negative comments about the pool area, we could not understand why, we were always able to get beds and a parasol or 2, Stefan the pool attendant gets a special mention he was just fantastic, made sure my mum had shade at all times and also me when I wanted it, he just works so so hard and really made our stay extra special, you feel like a superstar with the level of service he gives everyone, he will ensure you get a bed and parasol whenever you arrive at the pool. The pool bar was a lovely area to sit and again the staff were really attentive and polite. Food at dinner in the restaurant was great, something for everyone and although a buffet it has a much more restaurant feel rather than the usual canteen feel of most other hotels. Both myself and my mum felt really safe and secure in this hotel, guests were friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Shows at night were great fun with lots of dancing and laughter. Security at the hotel is paramount and always someone monitoring who is coming in and out of the hotel. We would not hesitate to recommend, is it for younger groups of people who want a bit of a rowdy time in Benidorm which is to be expected , in my opinion no not really as there are plenty of hotels to cater for that need , but there was a vast range of ages of guests contrary to popular belief, a bit more sedate than most of the hotels in the area with standards and I believe this is what makes it special, cannot wait to return!

The perfect hotel
Fantastic hotel best in Benidorm so friendly couldn’t be cleaner great food fantastic staff and the pool guys are out of this world I’ve now stayed 14 times here just perfect. Keep it up.
