Our holiday in Vilamoura
Hotel was dated but clean Room a good size our balcony had fabulous views of pool and Marina
Location fantastic just minutes from the Marina
Pool area was lovely very relaxed with plenty of sunbeds
We were on b&b basis. The breakfast offering was basic in my opinion No full fat milk, limited cheese and cold meats selection
Staff on reception were neither friendly or informative at any time we made enquiries
We would return for the location

Great hotel and location
Booked a short stay here with my sister for a girls break. It was just perfect. Location great 2 min walk to the Marina where there are loads of great eating places. We stayed bed and breakfast and had no issues with noise. The breakfast was the usual fair and plentiful - pancakes and fruit fab. Our room was cleaned every day and staff were very friendly. I would go back!

Poor aftercare
I’m have been charged twice for my booking, I have contacted the hotel numerous times but keep being told someone will call me back. Terrible service, I will not be returning.

Not great re noisey music
If you like Jungle beat box music all day at the Pool with no break this is the Hotel for you.. we have asked few times to play popular music or a little break but No.. otherwise breakfast brilliant.. balcony view fab.. hotel a bit dated but fine...

5* Entertainment team
We had an enjoyable stay at Vila Galé Marina overall. The hotel is well situated including beautiful marina views in every room. Although some areas could benefit from improvement. The hotel itself felt a little outdated in places, and unfortunately, the cleanliness was not always up to the standard we expected. Hotel staff at times were rude and unfriendly. And evening entertainment was non- existent.
One the other hand the, food was generally good, with breakfast being a particular highlight and offering plenty of choice. Dinner, however, was a little hit and miss, with some meals being much better than others.
The absolute highlight of our stay was the aqua gym sessions with the entertainment team. Antonio, Marcello and Gabrielle were fantastic — friendly, energetic and great at getting everyone involved. Their enthusiasm really made the activities enjoyable and added a lot to our holiday. See you at Ampalius next year!
