Stunning Hotel
We returned yesterday from a wonderful seven-night stay at the Tivoli Marina Hotel in Vilamoura, and all I can say is: Wow!
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we were in for a special experience. The doorman was waiting to assist with our luggage as soon as we stepped out of the transfer vehicle, providing a warm and professional welcome along with the superb reception team.
We had a beautiful sea-facing room with stunning views. The housekeeping team were exceptional, ensuring fresh towels were provided daily and offering a thoughtful turndown service complete with chocolates. These small touches made our stay feel even more special and memorable.
The hotel itself is stunning and impeccably maintained throughout. Every member of staff we encountered was professional, friendly, approachable and genuinely committed to delivering exceptional service. The location is also fantastic with the gorgeous marina, making it an ideal base for enjoying everything Vilamoura has to offer.
Breakfast was excellent, with an extensive selection catering to all tastes, whether you prefer a cooked breakfast or a continental breakfast the choice was there. The breakfast team work incredibly hard and are a real credit to the hotel. Despite the busy environment, they were always welcoming, attentive and smiling. The fresh fruit was beautifully prepared and regularly replenished, and it was refreshing to enjoy freshly squeezed orange juice each morning.
We also spent a day at Purobeach (Poolside), which was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was vibrant and enjoyable, with a live band and DJ providing entertainment in the afternoon. It was a wonderful experience, full of energy and fun, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute, even those of us who are a little older! 😊
We are already missing our time at the Tivoli Marina Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Vilamoura. We will certainly be returning.

Weeks holiday back In Portugal
On arrival warmly greeted . Room was sea facing large and clean fantastic . Food in all restaurants over the week for lunches fabulous. . Steak restaurant very good . Cocktail bar service and staff a joy always greeted warmly . Entertainment was very good . Pool area very nice and no sun bed wars . We costed the beach club daily as it was included in our holiday deal . We loved it . We did try the pool beach club but on a personal choice found it not to our liking with lots of shish vaping by the sun beds and in the pool . Personal choice . Restaurants around the marina are very good we didn’t have one bad meal . All in all we would highly recommend hotel we loved it and credit to all the staff teams .
Beautiful hotel, terrible pool and rules and not child friendly
The hotel and location is stunning. Family hotel it is not. No pool games in the pool. No floats or inflatables. Basically stand in the pool. Also no activities or anything else for children to do. If you have small children. This hotel is not for you. No children’s menu in any restaurant. In all the holidays I’ve gone: this hotel should be adult only. Everyday at least 10-15 complaining about the pool. The rooms, the pool staff are amazing.
The pool rules - terrible. We will not be returning which is a shame as it’s lovely. Also my parents have come for years and years and this is a new rule. But in all the years. Our children have never said they are bored and have nothing to do.
Excellent stay
This hotel was outstanding. I’ve stayed in a few of the hotels in Villamoura with my son and nephew and this was our favourite. Everything was so easy. The pool was fabulous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Fabulous views. Fabulous room. Gorgeous spa. Everything was perfect
Beautiful Resort
My family of 16 stayed here and thought it was a beautiful and comfortable resort. The pool area is lovely and became our favorite spot. The concierge helped us book a great tour at a very fair price. Try the mixed fried seafood at Oregano for a treat.
