The centre of Portimão, the largest town in the western part of the Algarve, is within walking distance, the Portimão Museum, marina and several golf courses are within easy reach. Numerous restaurants and shops are in the vicinity of the hotel, the international airport of Faro is about 73 km away. This accommodation offers a great variety of apartments that are equipped with kitchen, terrace, private bathroom, TV-sat and safe. Guests can enjoy outdoor pools and the pool bar by the gardens. A tennis court and game room are also available for all guests.

Hard to imagine anywhere better !
Absoutley beautiful apartments (117) and the entire complex was excellent. It is keep so clean and pristine. The staff are just so friendly and welcoming . We couldnt fault a single thing about it. We loved everything about Flor Da Rocha

GREAT hotel and area. Will visit again
Stayed for a week as a family of 5 (4 adults and a 13 year old disabled child) The hotel was spotless, friendly staff, and rooms were spacious with everything you would need. Beds were made daily and towels replaced. Air-conditioning in the living room but not in the bedrooms. Safe is at an extra cost for peace of mind. 10 minute walk to the main strip.. If you have a pushchair or wheelchair then be mindful its quite a hill going up!! Once on the strip the beach is down atleast 100 steep steps! Again, not a problem unless you have a wheelchair or pushchair. If you wall further down the strip (another 10mins) There's ramps to get down to the beach, but these are also very steep and slippy with sandals on. Some lovely bars on the strip... Taffys English bar was our favourite with polite staff and great English food!!
I have just two negatives for this hotel sadly. 1- around the pool is dangerously slippery! We witnessed 5 head injury accidents, where adults and children had slipped and bashed their heads on the floor! You either need pool shoes on or to walk like a snail at all times. I was terrified my son or elderly father would slip! Its like marble with no grip at all... just picture this soaking wet at all times 🙈 Im a very chilled person, but pool side frightened me.
2- there are only 2 lifts for the whole building.. only one of these fitted my sons wheelchair, so guessing it would be the same with a pushchair! The lifts are extremely slow and even being on floor 1 of 7 we sometimes had to wait 5/10 minutes of the lift to come to us or have space. As only one lift was suitable for the wheelchair it took even longer. This was also a nightmare getting 5 cases up and down.. so give yourself extra time unless youre ok with the stairs.
We would 100% stay here again and recommend it to others.
Fantastic family stay.
Just back from a very good stay in flor de Rocha hotel, absolutely spotless hotel with great staff who will help with anything you need.Kids loved the pool area,with the pool having a deep end and shallow end something the kids love as they get more confident in the water,the deep end is 2.1 meters and the shallow end 1.1 meters,it gets gradually deeper as you go along. The hotel is very much catered towards self catering as the pool bar only has hotdogs pizzas and toasted sandwiches,it's the only thing this hotel is lacking better food options or b+b options.Great location with a short stroll to the main strip area with plenty of bars and restaurants and stalls which are by far the cheapest around as I went to Lagos and alvor with stalls selling the exact same stuff at double and triple the price so stick to the ones up by the hotel.All said it was a great stay and having stayed all over Portugal myself I would have no hesitation in returning.

Another great stay at Flor da Rocha this year. Party of 5 in a 2 bed apartment. As always apartment was spacious & clean. Air con in the kitchen area shutters for all windows/doors. Can pay for safe for your stay. We hired towels for the pool which is refundable when towels are returned. Pool area is spotless bar serving drinks and food/snacks. Pizza hotdogs toasties. The games room has pool tables and air hockey. A few minutes walk to the strip or uber is very reasonable. All in all another great stay.
