I stayed at Rochavau for the Afronation festival. It’s a 10-15 min walking distance from the venue which made it really easy to get to and from the festival, which eliminated need to use cabs. The hotel has a lovely breakfast spread, beautiful views from the room balcony, AC in all the rooms and shared spaces, lovely pool to cool down after the hot weather but most importantly top notch customer service. Special shoutout to Harley. After I checked out, my package was delivered and I had a hard time finding a way to get it delivered to me. Harley helped me out with constant updates and even directly communicating with the courier company. Love this hotel, can’t wait to be back❤️
Excellent Hotel
Hotel is superb. The staff are all friendly, polite, professional. Check in was super quick. The air con in the room was very good. The quality of the breakfast was very, very good. Superb ingredients, well cooked and kept at the correct temperature. I didn't use the pool, but the water felt warm, and there was always sun loungers at all. They've a lovely little bar, where I spent quite some time. Can't wait to stay there again.

Excellent, will be back
Very very friendly staff. I ended up losing my phone and they were so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean and uptodate. Loved the pool area and associated bar/ restaurant. Clean modern. Complimentary breakfast as well.

Amazing experience
Ines was amazing I forgot my ID last year while staying at the hotel. The most amazing thing about it is that they saved my Id until I came back this year. Vivian and Ines are the sweetest people on the first class service from first class ladies. Highly recommend you chose the hotel with the best staff in Porto Mao.
Chilled hotel
This hotel was great value for money. Clean, modern and comfortable.
Quite a small hotel and as I visited in June i thought it would be busy/ overcrowded (especially at breakfast and pool area) but this was not the case at all. Every day there were sun beds available. The only thing is , there’s not much shade around the pool and there wasn’t enough umbrellas.
It’s a very quiet hotel and has a very chilled vibe, however sometimes you can hear doors closing/muffled chatter from others but this was not extreme and this did not bother me.
Staff were friendly, and helpful.
Room has a mini fridge, great aircon and smart tv where you can watch h Netflix/disney etc.
The closest beach is a couple minutes walk and the main strip is around 10min walk. Very easy to get to and a nice walk along the coast.
I would definitely return here.
