The food at the restaurant was not good ! Mabey some people's taste And wish the gym was included

Marina Suite Hotel Review
We absolutely loved our stay at Marina Suite Hotel. From start to finish, the service was excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the whole hotel had such a relaxed atmosphere.
One of my favourite things was breakfast. We sat outside overlooking the marina, which was absolutely delightful and such a lovely way to start the day. The lady serving at breakfast was always so friendly, and the reception team were equally welcoming. There could have been a little more variety at breakfast, but that was really my only criticism of the food.
The staff genuinely couldn’t have been more helpful. We asked for an ironing board and iron, and they arrived straight away. We also had a fuse blow once and, when we mentioned it, they brought us a new toaster straight away. We called reception several times with questions about using the microwave and oven, and they came straight away to help us. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
We stayed in a one-bedroom family apartment in the main building, which was really spacious and comfortable. The two single beds in the open-plan lounge/kitchen area were perfect for our teenagers, and there was plenty of space for all of us. Usually, by the end of a holiday, our room is a complete mess with the kids, but there was so much space that we were actually able to keep it really tidy! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed for self-catering, and the room was cleaned and tidied every day without us ever having to ask for anything.
The location was fantastic. We were very close to town and enjoyed the lovely walk into town every day, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle that the hotel itself felt peaceful and relaxing. It really was the best of both worlds. On the evenings when we didn’t want to walk into town, we could simply have a drink at the marina, which was lovely.
Our apartment was in the main building and opposite the car park, so accessing our car was really easy. The free parking was another big bonus and made everything very convenient.
The pool area was lovely and never felt crowded. It had a very relaxed feel, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
There are just two things I would change. Firstly, I think hotel guests should have free use of the spa and gym facilities rather than having to pay €10 per person. Secondly, there should definitely be shower facilities available for guests after checkout. We checked out at 12pm but weren’t leaving until 2pm and wanted to continue using the pool, but we had to pay to use the showers.
Apart from those points, we had a fantastic stay. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, excellent service, friendly staff, free parking, a convenient location and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We would happily stay here again
Food is terrible ive had 3 meals there so far it's also overpriced, best to go elsewhere.
The Marina Club Resort is perfectly located in the marina - a short walk from many restaurants and just across the bridge to the rest of Lagos. Our room had a seperate bedroom which meant lots of room to spread out for our family. The room was very clean and had a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and dishes. The swimming pool was great with plenty of lounge chairs. While the resort was lively, it was very quiet in our room.
My only complaint was with the staff who were uniformly miserable and unhelpful. A cleaner yelled at me for walking down the hall to my hotel room, the person staffing the snack bar refused to sell me a snack, the receptionist was incredibly rude. It is just puzzling that such a nice hotel can have such terrible service.
Just got back from a great stay at this hotel. Reception staff were friendly and nice when checking in and answered any questions we had. The hotel reception and hallways are very clean and smell nice. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was also clean but did have some dust and hairs on the floor. It was very spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen which was handy for cooking breakfast. The drawers and cupboards in the kitchen are tin / stainless steel and are showing their age and are difficult to keep clean. The window in the kitchen was broken and did not open. The living area was large with 2 single sofabeds that can be pushed together to make a big bed. Air con was great but wasn’t needed all the time as the apartment was a nice temperature. Bedroom was also large but didn’t have many coat hangers in the big wardrobes. Bathroom was clean but slightly old fashioned and the drain took a while when draining water as it was slightly blocked. We had a corner apartment and the balcony was large. The pool area was good but is showing its age with loose tiles and chipped paint. The pool was very cold and not heated. Location was excellent, right in the lovely Marina, close to bars and restaurants and a 10 mins walk to the old town and beach. Train station was just 2 mins walk away and great if you want to go to Faro for the day. The weather during our stay was perfect and sunny but did get a bit cool on a couple of nights due the Lagos being windy. I had a really lovely time at this hotel for the price we paid and would absolutely return .
