Fabulous all-inclusive hotel
Love, love, loved our time here. Food was excellent, and all staff so friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotless and well maintained.
Would recommend a ground floor room with Bali bed, as gives you privacy but still close enough for easy access to the pool.
Will definitely be back.

Amazing experience
What a lovely hotel, we were treated like kings and queens by all of the amazing staff. Honestly we saw so many people being rude to these lovely kind resport workers.
We love that the Iberostar brand is so eco friendly.
The food, drinks and service in all venues were amazing. We enjoyed a lovely Portuguese dinner at the a la carte that was very memorable.
The hotel does not sit directly on the beach, but we knew that before booking. This area has a boardwalk to protect the Dunes and there were no buildings on the beach at all (for those complaining, maybe do some research as this is the case in a lot of Europe).
Rooms were clean, modern and well maintained and we received little surprises in our room several times from Management.
We walked the boardwalk into Old Town (30 min.) as well as used Uber.

Another lovely holiday....
After a fabulous holiday at the Iberostar Selection Lagos Algarve last year, we booked again for 2026. We stayed in a Priority Sea View room, all inclusive. Everything was as good as it was in 2025. The staff overall are wonderful, helpful & friendly and it's good to see familiar faces on reception, in the lobby bar and restaurant. Food, as before, was fresh, varied & plentiful. Spent time around the upper freshwater pool, which is big & cool - lovely in the hot sun. We walked into Lagos several times - approx 30 mins along the Meia Praia beach side boardwalk (designed to protect the coastal ecosystem). Also along the beach which is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Only a few little things we noticed this year that need a bit of attention - In our room (245) the mini bar door and a drawer front needed fixing. The floor needed a clean (this was requested and cleaned immediately). The sun loungers and glass topped tables around the upper freshwater pool really need cleaning at the end of each day. ...loved it so much, we've booked for next year!

My wife myself stayed here from the 5th of October for a week away. Having never stayed here previously, we were more than delighted with the whole experience. The food, room, facilities and the staff were beyond excellent. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone and could not find a single thing to criticise. We rarely leave reviews but this is worth the time. Our advice, just go, you will not be disappointed.
