This wonderful establishment enjoys a paradisiacal location, Faro Airport is only a 40-minute drive from the hotel, it is very close from the picturesque village of Ferragudo where guests can take leisurely walks and within easy reach from the most breath-taking, sandy beaches with crystal-clear waters and stunning sea cliffs that will capture the attention of all travellers. Guests may also play a round of golf at the nearby golf courses 5 minutes away or enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Praia da Rocha. This is an ideal choice of accommodation when travelling with children, as the property has a fantastic outdoor pool, among other areas to play or leasure with whole family. Each accommodation unit includes all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, such as a fully-equipped home appliances in the flats. All guest rooms and flats are tastefully decorated with modern materials and offer access to balcony or terrace where guests can sit and enjoy the beautiful view.

Beautiful resort in Ferraugdo
This was my wife’s and my 9th visit to Vitor’s Village, a secluded oasis with beautiful, aligned palm trees and well-maintained green lawns, overlooking the quaint fishing village of Ferragudo, creating a very peaceful setting.
Location – Vitor’s Village is nestled on a hill, overlooking the beautiful fishing village of Ferragudo. It is only a short 10-minute walk to the town square or a 30-minute walk to Praia Grande (the largest sandy beach in Ferragudo). When visiting Praia Grande, my wife and I often stop by the town square for a coffee before making the final 20-minute walk to the beach. Vitor Village also offers a shuttle service to the village of Ferragudo, Praia Grande and other beaches, departing the resort at 10:00 am and returning at 3:00 pm each day (except Sunday). There is also an Aldi, Lidl and Continente supermarket located just under a mile from Vitor’s Village. My wife and I usually make the 20-minute walk, then take an Uber back with our shopping. At night, Vitor’s Village is very quiet and tranquil.
Accommodation – The apartment buildings are two levels high; each apartment features a balcony with four chairs, a table, and a drying rack. On this trip, my wife and I had reserved the premium one-bedroom self-catering apartment. We had two charming balconies: one off the kitchen and another accessible from the lounge and bedroom, offering fantastic views of Portimão's city lights. The apartment has air conditioning in both the living area and the bedroom. The kitchen comes equipped with all the necessary utensils, pots, pans, dishes, cups, and saucers. It features a two-ring ceramic hob and a spacious refrigerator with a small freezer compartment. The bedroom features a huge king-size bed and a digital safe, allowing you to store your valuables during your stay. Unsecured Wi-Fi is also included. The bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower stall.
Pool Area – The pool area is open from 9:30 to 21:00, and you may not place towels early to reserve sunbeds. There are three pools: the main pool, a small kiddie pool down the steps, a separate, quieter area with a smaller pool and sunbeds. Since we arrived in September, we have always found the main pool tranquil, as most of the tenants were couples or couples with pre-school children.
Dining – Vitor’s Village features the Purple Restaurant on-site, which offers a buffet breakfast and serves as a poolside bar, selling cold beverages and a selection of lunch items. It also offers a full evening dining service. We opted out of the buffet breakfast, mainly because we prefer a small breakfast and a nice lunch on the beach. Vitor’s Village has a small on-site market that doubles as a bakery, where you can get freshly baked rolls and croissants in the morning, which we always chose.
Service – The staff at Vitor’s Village have always been very friendly and courteous, and go out of their way to assist you, especially with local knowledge.

Wow what a place to stay definitely worth a visit very clean ,pool area fantastic , 10 minute walk down to village Fantastic room suite 5 massive clean and pretty new and great views overlooking the pools

A Lovely Complex
Vitor’s Village is a beautiful self catering complex. We booked two apartments for a couple and a family of four with two small children.
Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the apartments are thoughtfully decorated and well furnished. We were pleased to find a coffee maker (Dolce Gusto Pods), kettle, toaster and small combi oven, so we could make simple meals. There are two saltwater pools and a children’s paddling area, all of which were clean with ample space and some shady areas for those of us who don’t like to to sit in direct sunlight! The laundrette is useful if travelling with small children and the gym is handy for the adults.
The only less than great parts were our shower wasn’t good. It didn’t work at all on arrival, but on day two someone came to fix it. It wasn’t great after that, but it was useable. My daughter’s apartment had a good shower though. She had a view looking down to the village, we did not have a view, but the apartment was lovely nevertheless. They thoughtfully placed her on the ground floor, which was handy with a pram!
The mini market on site was very expensive and not well stocked, We came a cropper in n there on day one and spent €17 on a bottle of wine that was €3 in Continente supermarket. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but my daughter and family had “takeaway” from them and said it was good, tasty food, but a little more expensive than the restaurants in the village, which is to be expected.
Location wise, it is at the top of an extremely steep hill, as is a lot of the Algarve. If you have reduced mobility, or small children, this can become a challenge. We didn’t hire a car, but I think having one would have been really beneficial. Uber taxis are cheap and quick, but it can add up quickly especially with a party of six, so this may be something to be mindful of.
All in all, Vitor’s Village is a lovely complex and offers great accommodation and good value for money. I would absolutely return, but would hire a car next time!

Great holiday - unfortunately terrace lacked privacy
I echo all the positive reviews here in that's it's a lovely complex, great location and really friendly, helpful staff.
I do have a negative in that I had a terrace which lacked privacy. It was also next to a busy path. Other terraces had railings or hedges on them to stop people (children) thinking it was part of the path and to just run into them. I also spent the time that I did spend in the apartment with the curtains closed and the lights on as people could see in. I suggest an additional net type curtain at least and put railings or hedges around.
Other than that I had a great time and would recommend!

Great holiday
Fantastic complex. Everything was spotless..Its Great..Quite a hilly walk down to the village square then up again, phew. ..not good for people with walking difficulties..Uber taxis brilliant..The balconies on some are not private..thats a shame. That let it down slightly. But a beautiful complex.
