It offers a lagoon-style pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, a wellness center with excellent equipment for health lovers to keep fit during their holidays, and a putting green for relaxation to be enjoyed to the fullest. Guests may also use the conference facilities, car park and garage services, and younger guests will love the playground. Also, guests can hire a bicycle, enjoy Internet access and room and laundry services. The elegant rooms are equipped with all the electrical appliances required for a comfortable stay, and some have access to a porch or balcony overlooking the green gardens of the Falésia Porto Bay.

First rate Portobay hotel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Well run, beautifully situated hotel with copious grounds and excellent facilities. The restaurants provide menus on two levels, a self serve extensive buffet and a premium Italian. We dined on The Deck for a special occasion overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in perfect conditions. Super service and food made it very special. You need to book well in advance as it is in high demand.
The rooms are spacious, well appointed and clean with easy lift access to all floors.
The evening entertainment in the bar is varied and more targeted at the slightly older generation. Younger visitors head down town to Albufeira for the discos and youth bars.
All in all an excellent hotel with first rate staff and service catering to all ages.
NOTE THE HOTEL CLOSES FROM OCTOBER 2026 UNTIL JANUARY 2027 FOR UPGRADING.

Paradise on earth
We’ve now stayed at the Portobay Falesia three times and loved every visit. It’s stunning location and views are hard to replicate elsewhere. The grounds are immaculate with a team of gardeners constantly at work and the staff are efficient and friendly. We can see ourselves returning again and again and would certainly never consider another hotel for a trip to the Algarve.

Stay at the hotel
The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of food, and everything was excellent. The housekeeping service was also outstanding, and the room was always clean.
The only downside was that the bathroom door in our room did not close properly. Apart from that, everything was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Stay in PortoBay Falesia
The stay, location, room and restaurants were all very good. One exception: Europcar, recommended by the hotel, did not refund the 100E fuel deposit.
