Centrally located resort of Albufeira, the Paladim Aparthotel is well run by friendly staff, creating a relaxing atmosphere. FROM 15/12/2016 AHEAD Paladim and Alagoamar aparthotel (situated in the same building) will join to be one hotel with 1 reception ONLY and all the services will be available for both hotels. The hotel is located between Old town of Albufeira and new town (The Strip), meaning guests will have the whole of the resort to explore. The location really is a fantastic feature of this hotel, which active families and couples will enjoy. Paladim is not far from beaches, so is ideal for people looking to explore or relax on the beach. The swimming pools and sun terraces are set in an attractive garden, the ideal place to spend lazy days. Guests will find numerous shops, restaurants and bars close by. The property provides comfortable accommodation with spacious apartments, all of which feature a selection of amenities including a kitchenette. Guests may enjoy a selection of hotel facilities including 2 outdoor swimming pools and 2 children's pools as well as poolside snack bar/restaurant. During the high season entertainment is provided almost every night. The Paladim has a total of 63 rooms (with Alagoamar 126), some studio and some one-bedroom apartments with avenue or pool view. Even though this is a self-catering apartment block, there are many features and amenities that ensure this will be a lovely stay. Rooms include satellite television, full bathroom facilities and a balcony looking over the avenue or pool view. There are 17 (with Alagoamar 34) studio rooms sleeping one to two persons and 46 one bedroom apartments (with Alagoamar 92) sleeping one to four. Each room offers: microwave, electric hobs, toaster, electric kettle, fridge, sofa bed, satellite television, bathroom with bath and shower, balcony with avenue or pool view. Facilities are the same in Paladim and Alagoamar but decoration is variable.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Great holiday
First time in Portugal and at Paladim, and so glad we chose to stay here. Very central, next door to a great supermarket and food court, including a Taco Bell which we liked. Some clothes shops on the bottom level which I really liked. Being close to a supermarket is one of the reasons I chose to stay here as my daughter has food allergies, and I freak out if I have to rely on restaurants to feed her. 10/15 minute walk to the old town and Fisherman’s beach which was doable in the heat. It’s a beautiful beach, busy but not overly so, the sea was ice cold though and went deep quickly, it was also very choppy so was apprehensive going in with my daughter, I loved the fact they sold donuts on the beach ! Paladim is a large hotel, with lots of shops underneath. We had a pool facing room which was perfect, it had a sofa bed, and a single full size bed in the living area with a kitchen as we were self catering. We found this spacious. Air con in main bedroom and living area, which was super efficient. 2 large pools and 2 kiddies pools mirroring each other as it used to be 2 separate hotels. The pool was beautiful and to swim in the glorious sunshine is what summer holidays are all about. I will dream about that pool! Great restaurant which served food all day and wasn’t overly expensive, in fact we found eating out very similar to the UK if not slightly cheaper. Reception was friendly and helpful, we booked a boat trip through them to the caves. You do only get the one key to the room, which did prove awkward at times, our 18 year old sometimes did his own thing, and the key powers the the electricity so needed to be in the slot in the room. We got around it but need’s to be addressed for future convenience. Didn’t hear any music or rowdiness from groups, there was chairs scraping above us and some shouting occasionally but that’s to be expected. Hope to return one day, loved Portugal, the people and the vibe, we felt very safe at the Paladim. Thank you

We had a lovely time at the hotel. We stayed there for 6 nights with 2 teenage boys. Thank you to the reception staff who are always smiling and helpful. Merci Océane, Isobel and Ana! The self catering apartment was spotless and we slept well. We had a swimming pool view and it was amusing to see people reserving sunbeds before breakfast when there are actually plenty of sunbeds around the 2 pools. We went to the nearest beach which is 20-min walk away or less than 4 euros uber ride and it is absolutely beautiful . The only thing you might want to consider is adding felt guards under your furniture because 08am on Saturday morning was early for moving tables, beds and chairs above our heads …

We stayed at the Paladim & Alagoamar Hotel for 7 nights and had a fantastic holiday. The pool area is lovely and relaxing and perfect for unwinding.
All the staff were friendly and welcoming, but a special mention to Isabella at reception. She was wonderfully helpful, friendly, and went out of her way to accommodate us :)

Excellent hotel to stay in Albufiera
What can I say an amazing stay. The staff were all friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. The whole hotel was spotless and cleaned daily everywhere. The rooms were large and comfortable and so many hotel services available. The hotel was quiet in the day and night giving a chilled atmosphere to relax. The location was very close to shops, restaurants and bars and such a wide choice to choose from. Paladim Alagoamar is definitely a place to stay in Albufiera and will be returning.

Perfect for group holiday!
We visited Paladim with a large group of friends and were welcomed by some of the friendliest staff we’ve ever met. Everyone was so lovely, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The food at the restaurant was good, and we loved that it was available all day. Thank you for such a lovely experience — we had a brilliant time!
