Centrally located resort of Albufeira, the Paladim Aparthotel is well run by friendly staff, creating a relaxing atmosphere. FROM 15/12/2016 AHEAD Paladim and Alagoamar aparthotel (situated in the same building) will join to be one hotel with 1 reception ONLY and all the services will be available for both hotels. The hotel is located between Old town of Albufeira and new town (The Strip), meaning guests will have the whole of the resort to explore. The location really is a fantastic feature of this hotel, which active families and couples will enjoy. Paladim is not far from beaches, so is ideal for people looking to explore or relax on the beach. The swimming pools and sun terraces are set in an attractive garden, the ideal place to spend lazy days. Guests will find numerous shops, restaurants and bars close by. The property provides comfortable accommodation with spacious apartments, all of which feature a selection of amenities including a kitchenette. Guests may enjoy a selection of hotel facilities including 2 outdoor swimming pools and 2 children's pools as well as poolside snack bar/restaurant. During the high season entertainment is provided almost every night. The Paladim has a total of 63 rooms (with Alagoamar 126), some studio and some one-bedroom apartments with avenue or pool view. Even though this is a self-catering apartment block, there are many features and amenities that ensure this will be a lovely stay. Rooms include satellite television, full bathroom facilities and a balcony looking over the avenue or pool view. There are 17 (with Alagoamar 34) studio rooms sleeping one to two persons and 46 one bedroom apartments (with Alagoamar 92) sleeping one to four. Each room offers: microwave, electric hobs, toaster, electric kettle, fridge, sofa bed, satellite television, bathroom with bath and shower, balcony with avenue or pool view. Facilities are the same in Paladim and Alagoamar but decoration is variable.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Amazing staff.
A really nice hotel but some of the decor needs a bit of tlc. The staff, however, are amazing. A special mention for Isabel and Sandra on reception who were so helpful and friendly during our stay. We had a medical issue and Isabel was brilliant in helping us. Also, the restaurant staff were outstanding, especially Ricardo, Jonas, Joao, and Martim. Nothing was a problem. The choice at breakfast and dinner was limited but the quality of the food was superb. One downside was the room cleaning. We had a change of towels every day but didn't receive a change of bed linen during our stay. Our granddaughters (15 & 11) absolutely loved the two swimming pools.
Fabulous stay
Rooms were very clean, the hotel itself was lovely. Had a fabulous stay. All staff were very nice except one woman behind reception. All in all, would return :)
Lovely hotel
Just back from an enjoyable weeks stay at the Paladim & Alagoa MarHotel We found the reception and security staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless clean. Marco and Fabio provided an impeccable service at the bar. Marco went above and beyond to ensure all guests were kept entertained and had a pleasant evening. Location was perfect in between both old and new town. Definitely book this hotel again !

Amazing
Amazing place ideal for both old and new town, we have been 2 times over the years, nice rooms, cleaned very day, staff amazing, pool nice some of the subloungers could do with replacing, the only down side is the lift kept breaking down realy needs to be sorted
Brilliant Hotel!
Just returned from a two week stay with my wife and two daughters (14 and 18) and it was excellent. From check in to check out, the service was spot on. Staff on reception always smiling and happy to help with lots of information about the area. The young guys who work in the bar and restaurant were just lovely! Happy and willing to have a laugh but always professional and even joined in on the karaoke! Big shout out to Pedro who runs the Karaoke two nights a week, what a laugh we had with him. The lady who looked after the pool bar also does a great job too....smiling, serving drinks and policing the area, keeping it clean and safe. Apart from the beautiful pizzas, we weren't blown away with the food in the restaurant. Menu wasn't great and it wasn't the cheapest, but we only tried it twice. Two pools one near the pool bar and one a bit quieter but both a good size, very clean and no struggles for sunbeds. Room was spotless with plenty of space and a functional kitchen area, which we did a fair bit of cooking in. Cleaners in most days which was nice! Room on the front over looking the road which can be a bit noisy but didn't bother us and we loved watching what was going on from the balcony. Didn't have any noise from surrounding rooms and the bed was comfy. Location of this hotel is so handy! Bang in-between the old and new town, 15 minute walk each way. Really good supermarket/shopping complex 2 minutes walk away which sold lovely fresh Pastries (that we had every morning) and all your essentials at good prices. Handy little snack bar on the corner as well, which does cheap and cheerful food which we really liked. Will definitely be back, already looking for next year! Thanks guys!!
