Centrally located resort of Albufeira, the Paladim Aparthotel is well run by friendly staff, creating a relaxing atmosphere. FROM 15/12/2016 AHEAD Paladim and Alagoamar aparthotel (situated in the same building) will join to be one hotel with 1 reception ONLY and all the services will be available for both hotels. The hotel is located between Old town of Albufeira and new town (The Strip), meaning guests will have the whole of the resort to explore. The location really is a fantastic feature of this hotel, which active families and couples will enjoy. Paladim is not far from beaches, so is ideal for people looking to explore or relax on the beach. The swimming pools and sun terraces are set in an attractive garden, the ideal place to spend lazy days. Guests will find numerous shops, restaurants and bars close by. The property provides comfortable accommodation with spacious apartments, all of which feature a selection of amenities including a kitchenette. Guests may enjoy a selection of hotel facilities including 2 outdoor swimming pools and 2 children's pools as well as poolside snack bar/restaurant. During the high season entertainment is provided almost every night. The Paladim has a total of 63 rooms (with Alagoamar 126), some studio and some one-bedroom apartments with avenue or pool view. Even though this is a self-catering apartment block, there are many features and amenities that ensure this will be a lovely stay. Rooms include satellite television, full bathroom facilities and a balcony looking over the avenue or pool view. There are 17 (with Alagoamar 34) studio rooms sleeping one to two persons and 46 one bedroom apartments (with Alagoamar 92) sleeping one to four. Each room offers: microwave, electric hobs, toaster, electric kettle, fridge, sofa bed, satellite television, bathroom with bath and shower, balcony with avenue or pool view. Facilities are the same in Paladim and Alagoamar but decoration is variable.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Great stay with amazing staff
Had a great stay as 3 friends . Room was huge with separate living room containing a proper bed and good air con, also the biggest balcony I have ever had on holiday. The pools are big, nice and chilled and never once had an issue getting loungers, even on the afternoon we arrived. The staff are all really friendly and nothing was to much bother for them. I lost a bracelet with sentimental value and I was so grateful to other guests for searching non stop (found it a really friendly atmosphere) Sadly I returned home without finding it, then to my surprise Easyjet holidays rang me to say the hotel needed to speak to me. Low and behold bracelet was found round the pool the day after I left. The great service I recieved continued after my holiday with staff trying really hard to locate me so they could arrange to post this to me, what fantastic customer service. Excellent location with a 10 minute stroll to Old Town and a really good shopping centre next door. Was a fantastic holiday and I look forward to returning 😀

We had a great time - thank you! I emailed before hand to ask for a room on a high floor at the end of the block and we got that - thank you. We specifically chose a road view room as we like to sit on the balcony and things to watch. We got the sun ☀️ late afternoon and wonderful sunsets and the seagulls all flying back home. Yes it’s noisy on the front because of the road but we didn’t mind as we like people watching. The hotel is spotless and the maids do a great job. Yes we had a couple of cupboard doors that did not match but I couldn’t care less. The room has everything you need. All staff are friendly and polite and reception staff are lovely. Great spot between old and new town. Next door to Continente supermarket but we preferred Pingo Doce across the road. We didn’t go down for entertainment but there’s live music on frequently. We were in Room 215 and loved it and we will definitely return.

Great service from marco
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Service from Marco Afonso
We had a lovely stay at the hotel, and I would especially like to recognise Marco Afonso for his outstanding service and professionalism. Marco was always kind, welcoming, and hardworking, and he consistently carried himself with a smile.
What impressed us most was the way he handled a particularly rude guest. Despite being spoken to disrespectfully, Marco remained calm, polite, and professional throughout the situation. His patience, positive attitude, and dignity were a real credit to him and to the hotel.
It is not always easy to maintain such a positive attitude when dealing with difficult people, but Marco did so effortlessly. Staff members like him make a real difference to a guest’s experience, and his dedication should not go unnoticed.
Marco is a fantastic asset to the hotel, and I hope his hard work and excellent customer service are recognised by management. He deserves great credit for the way he treats people and represents the hotel.
Thank you, Marco, for making our stay even more enjoyable. You are a credit to the team!
Excellent
This is my twelfth stay in the last six years at the Paladim. The staff at reception are really friendly and helpful if you need to use them. The place is ideal so once I have booked in I don't need to use reception. The rooms are excellent and towel change etc is daily. It is really well located for the strip and the Old Town, which i prefer. Would recommend the Paladim to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday.

Brilliant hotel
We had a great time at the Paladim. The room was massive and had all we needed for a self catering holiday. Beds were comfortable but an extra pillow would be nice. Pool area was spotless with plenty of loungers. The food was excellent and the buffet breakfast had loads of choice. The night time entertainment was also good and a big shout out to Pedro on the karaoke. All the staff are very friendly and helpful fom the reception, day time staff and especially the bar staff and manager at night. The location is ideal as it's only a 10 min walk to the old town. We would definitely stay here again.
