Excellent location.. half way between old and new town. Nice wee cafe top of road. And right beside shopping centre. Nice staff and cleanliness. Nice pool. Clean. Bar and restaurant lacks some personality. Staff there are a bit lacking in interest. But yes would stay again. Albuferia is great for restaurants and nite life. All very reasonable

DO NOT GO HERE
AVOID!! There are many better places. The pictures made the place look nice but the only nice thing about it was the reception area (until close inspection).
ROOM - As a housekeeper myself in a 4/5 star resort, the cleanliness of Luna Mirimar was not “4 stars” as they claim. 2 minutes walking barefoot in the bedroom and your feet are black. Brown stains running from the overflow hole to the plug in the bath, grout of the bathroom walls is black and brown and the toilet had black running down from the rim of the toilet ceramic. Kitchen sink blocked, hairs in the bed and stuck to the walls, dust everywhere, just overall really really filthy. Not what you expect from a 4 star hotel AT ALL.
POOL - You have the luxury of the pool which is nice, however is the water supposed to be murky? How often does it get cleaned? With how the bedrooms are, it makes you question the cleanliness of the pool also.
BAR - The only nice cocktail was the frozen daiquiris, asked for a pina colada that was made with pineapple cordial… No wonder it was so watery and not the usual texture you get from using coconut milk and fresh pineapple. 4 euros for a cappuccino that was the same size as an espresso was ridiculous. You just couldn’t find any nice drinks that were also decent for the money. Also I don’t mind leaving a tip for hospitality staff when I believe the service is good (I work in hospitality so I get it) however, when I ask how much something is and you take all the change I laid out on the side, that is not a tip I gave you, you just took it. You’re supposed to help your guests, not take advantage of their vulnerability in a different country.
This place really ruined the trip for myself and my partner. For reasons I don’t need to place on the internet, we had to stay within the hotel to make sure we had shade and our belongings close by. So naturally you would want somewhere that is relaxing, comfortable, clean and accommodating for their guests however this was really not that. We couldn’t wait to come home and that’s upsetting for our first holiday together as a couple. I definitely want my money back and advise you not to waste yours.
Amazing
So surprised with how good this hotel was after reading alot of bad reviews. It has lovely pool area amazing staff and good rooms. Me and my friends had the apartment. Great value. Location was fine as walkable to old town and great atmosphere overall!!!
Fantastic holiday great location
1st of all have reading some off the comments I was worried about going here,but it was booked so had to go and I’m so glad I did. We walked through the door the reception is lovely and the lady behind the counter couldn’t help us enough, so the room was a bit out dated but nothing bad, the pool was clean and tidy no mad rush to get sun beds until my last day leaving when ones only coming in where taking there towels down this did not happen the week we stayed that was a bit disappointing seeing this happened at 630 in the morning luckily I was leaving. also big shopping centre just over the rd that was fantastic also 5 minutes down the rd in taxi around 5 euros when not busy old town or new you can walk about 20 minutes walk the only bad point we had the house keeper kept running out of big towels and kept giving us one big one and 2 wee ones it was a pleasure to stay here no noise at night
Poor hotel
Honestly do not stay here 😂 we went for a hen party so it was doable for our type of holiday but honestly the place is minging. They take €100 pp for a deposit for the room and I have no idea why, breaking things in the room would have probs made the place look nicer. If you book a apartment for four of you, you get one room with two single beds then the other two people have to sleep in the living area on sofa beds which only just fit a adult on - so if your tall good luck 😂. We asked staff where the gym was as it stated on On the beach there was one and staff pretended they didn’t understand us, then went to talk to the next people in perfect English 😂 there’s probs worse places out there but honestly this place is not worth your money 😂
