- Falesia Hotel

This modern hotel enjoys a wonderful location between the Pine Cliffs golf course and a peaceful green pine forest. The hotel lies just 800 metres from the renowned Falesia Beach and is only 8.5 kilometres from the lively tourist hub of Albufeira. Faro Airport is at a distance of 20 kilometers from the hotel and the Roman Ruins are situated just 10 kilometres from the hotel, while Loule Castle is just 14 kilometres away. This magnificent hotel tempts guests with the promise of unrivaled facilities and service for a truly unforgettable experience; it is surrounded by peaceful, tranquil gardens exuding serenity and offering the ideal escape from daily life. Guests will be impressed by the unprecedented style and beauty of the hotel, which features a contemporary design and elegant interiors. The guest rooms are beautifully-appointed offering a haven of luxury and comfort in which to enjoy quiescence and a restful night's sleep.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Been coming back here for years, but this unfortunately will be the last. Losing, for whatever reason the majority of the fabulous staff has sucked out the life and fun out of the hotel. (Good to see Carolina was still there). It’s so obvious there’s not enough staff and they seem to be operating with no management guidance. Seeing the staff use their phones to find out how to mix cocktails does not inspire confidence. Other than twice we saw the guy we assumed was the manager swan around the pool area with his guests, we never saw any managers at all. While the rooms and outside areas are beautifully kept, the food was a big disappointment. For a 4* hotel, the standard was more of a cheap canteen. Dining is a big part of a holiday and I don’t appreciate having to just find something that’s ok especially for the money paid out. There’s only so much Caesar salad you can tolerate! We ate out several times because it was so disappointing. Advised the TUI rep, Paula I think her name was, as I wanted TUI to be aware of customer complaints but she was not interested and sided with the hotel. Entertainment was more suited to a nursing home than a 4* hotel, so dreary. Yes, they promote relaxation but don’t want to be comatose for the duration! The hotel used to be one of the top ones in Albufeira, but it’s now slipping down the list, which is such a shame, but until the food at dinner and nightly entertainment improves that downward spiral will continue
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were well appointed large and comfortable. Two pools, both of generous size and a small gym. Lovely gardens. It’s quiet and relaxing.
Wonderful stay . Spotless everywhere . Out of old town which was no bad thing . Bolt taxi ride into Old town approx 7/8 euros one way . Breakfast is 10/10 as was evening meals . Good choice of restaurants less than 300 metres down steps opposite hotel . Highly recommend the spa/ massage facilities . Virginia and Samantha are world class masseuse's and pound for pound the best I’ve ever had . Prices half what I’ve seen in other hotels I’ve stayed at .Plenty of loungers around pool or a lovely garden area . Would definitely return
Dreadful food in the evenings. No staff to serv drinks in the evening and if you do go to the bar on the tab was a 10% service charge. For what I don’t know. Will never go to this hotel again or book through jet. Both business will never see any of my money again.
This is the 4th. year we have been to this hotel, always in June for 2 weeks, always enjoyed it that’s why we came back on 10th June , the hotel itself is very stylish & has undergone several changes over the years , making it a lovely looking hotel within the reception area the bar & the dining room, I believe they also made some changes to the indoor pool areas. On arrival it was clear something had happened , the lady was quite nervous when explaining the rules, our room wasn’t ready so we had a drink in the bar which was very quiet, we paid the €40 for the towel hire (returnable ) & €50 to open up our debit card (returnable) when the room was ready we took the one working lift to the 3 rd floor, the room was smaller than previous years & looked over the front entrance & car park/road. We had to give the time we would be down for dinner !! The dining room had undergone some changes , minimalist dining experience re the tables, the salad starters were fine although a greatly reduced offering, the mains were cheaper cuts of meat, pies & pasta & very small portions of fish etc, a massive downgrade to what it was, the desserts were portioned in child size dishes but I suppose you could have taken more than one . All in the the dining experience wasn’t great, it was obvious that the majority of staff didn’t know what they were doing and there didn’t seem to be any management to help them, we had two nights when the drinks waiter didn’t come to us although we went to find him on the second night & he said 2 minutes but didn’t come, another night he arrived when we were on dessert. The bar was a big let down, previously they had fabulous staff who worked non stop mixing cocktails, chatting to customers whilst doing so, it was always busy with good entertainment, this year it was like a nursing home in there with a couple singing at the very far end of the room , we thought they were rehearsing at first but then realised it was the entertainment for the evening. One night we ordered a bottle of house wine and were billed over 48€ which was quite expensive for the wine served to us. They admitted they had no experience making cocktails!!!! Not the staff’s fault but the people in charge ( unseen ) the 2nd lift was fixed on day 13 by which time we had got used to using the fire stairs. The sun beds were fine , quite close together but I suppose that’s normal, we did notice the pool didn’t look as clean as it was & the herb garden looked like it hadn’t been taken care of , lots of poor plants with last years growth still on looks like they were dying off. Sadly we doubt we will be returning , we have wasted our money on this holiday & the price for 2027 is in the region of £5,000 for the 2 of us . When we checked out , paying the bill was a little bit complicated with change given & then taken back because something wasn’t printed , a bit of confusion about the 40€ towels !!!! We like most people save for our holidays & expect value for money, this time we felt we didn’t get it , someone has ripped the soul out of this hotel & it needs putting back.
