As if there wasn't already enough to recommend it, the Auramar Beach Resort provides all-inclusive accommodation, making the stay as comfortable as the views are spectacular.
All the twin / double rooms are air-conditioned and come with private bathrooms and balcony. Rooms are kitted out with satellite TV (4 UK channels), fridge and a room safe. Irons and hairdryers are also available on request. Partial sea view rooms are available, you must book a superior room or pay locally for an upgrade if there is availability. Please note the superior rooms offer the same amenities as the standard, however the room will be located on the 3rd floor or above. Standard rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors.
There is a whole world of entertainment waiting for you at the Auramar Beach Resort too. With two exceptional swimming pools, children's pools and a heated indoor pool, you can enjoy a variety of swimming experiences inside, outside and in the sea. With a sauna and relaxing massage service also available in-house you can ease away any lingering tiredness if you've swum a few too many lengths. The Auramar Beach Resort is superbly positioned on a rocky headland overlooking one of the Algarve's fabulous golden sand beaches. It is located just 50m from the beach and 5 minutes from the 'strip' and from the centre of Albufeira, it offers guests an ideal location to enjoy the best of the Algarve's well known attractions.

Just as good as our Ist Visit back in May 2025
My husband and myself loved this hotel came back again in July as it was so wonderful and we so loved the ambience of the lovely staff and the Portugal people in general just for a week. We live in the Isle of Man so our holiday was with fly direct a direct flight package from the IOM to Portugal so convenient. Again another lovely stay it felt like home we even managed to get a room on the same level. Another great touch is when you arrive you get a small paper bag with cold iced tea sandwiches and fruit so nice when you arrive late in the evening. The weather was much hotter than May and I am pleased to say after e mailing the hotel directly managed to get a room with the balcony on the same floor not so far from the restuarant.Would still recommend a taxi transfer to the airport as it is much quicker than a coach and the hotel will pre book it for you. Decided to write this review late as panning to fly back for a week next May on my own as sadly my husband died unexpectantly last October a week before his birthday and our wedding anniversary and another holiday so plan to be brave and travel on my own as you do feel safe at this hotel plus my window cleaner is Portugese and comes from a small place not so far away from this town and he encouraged me to go A big plus to was the cleanliness of the hotel and a decent shower and good fridge.

Auramar is a wonderful hotel with a great atmosphere and delicious food. The service is excellent, and a special mention goes to Mohamed, the waiter with the beautiful smile, who always makes guests feel welcome with his kindness, professionalism, and outstanding service.

Ideal for a short break
Under £5 for a uber to the Old Town, 12 min walk to the New Town (the strip) access to the beach is down a cliff face / stairs so if you have mobility issues I dont think that would be a great option. The pool was huge lots of sun loungers and always available. The breakfast was average, plenty to pick from but nothing was hot despite coming from hot plates (usual all inc set up) staff at the hotel were helpful, lovely and always available. Hotel is split into blocks we were block B and we upgraded to a superia twin room. Can't complain at all, it was spacious, modern, huge balcony and clean, fridge in room and great air con, fresh towels and bed made every day along with general cleaning.
