Working in such a grand interior, the Phoenicia Malta staff have to work hard to ensure that the service they offer matches up. That the level of service here is consistently impeccable is a testament to them – and a big factor in bringing so many people back here year after year.
Classic twin/double air-conditioned or heated rooms are well-equipped with satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, radio, phone, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary non-alcoholic mini-bar, and hairdryer. One of our favourite hotels in the world!
This was our 6th visit to this beautiful hotel and was the best yet. The hotel itself is stunning, great location, set in lovely grounds which you walk through to get to the pool. It has 2 bars, the club bar is our favourite but only opens in the evening. Friendly attentive staff (some of whom remembered us even though we have not been for 2 years). Great food - we ate at the pool a few days ( the portions were a little large for us at lunch but they were quite happy for us to share), had finger sandwiches in the Palm Court and a great evening in Contessa.
Plenty of very comfortable sunbeds and excellent pool staff. I also recommend booking the Contessa one evening for a great meal. There is also a Beef Bar but we did not eat there.
I highly recommend joining the leaders club loyalty program and booking through that. We did this for the first time this year and got a room upgrade, welcome bottle of prosecco, free full breakfast (which is excellent) every day and a lovely gift every evening. We can't wait to go back next year.

Excellent in every way.
Wow what a hotel the staff are amazing we were so well looked after special mention must be made to housekeeping they kept the rooms immaculate and were charming and helpful giving us more water as needed a real credit to the hotel. The swimming pool area is delightful very clean well run the food delicious and the staff incredible with their care. There is an excellent spa the salt room is not to be missed. Breakfast was a joy more choice than you can believe coffee juice and eggs off the menu all served with a smile during breakfast one morning a small child had a tantrum and was screaming my husband and I were just discussing why do parents allow this it was most unpleasant when a member of staff went up to them said what we do not know but moved them to the terrace around the corner so all was peaceful again and it is that alertness from staff and acting on it that makes it a very well deserved title of one of The Leading Hotels Of The World.

Wonderful hotel with amazing staff.
Wonderful hotel. Such amazing staff. Lovely lounge area. Beautiful spa. Amazing outdoor pool between the ancient walls and a really nice outside bistro. Breakfast was amazing. 5 star in all respects.
