A trip to the Phoenicia
One of the best luxury hotel in the world. Unique atmosphere, fantastic service helping you. Cleanliness, Garden and Food are simply fantastic. The ancient location, the old building itself, the harbour panorama view are stunning. Silent confortable rooms, the Bastion pool, the original Lounge, the Restaurant and the American Bar are an incredible experience. Sometimes we return there.....and we will again ! Thanks
Special and Luxurious
This was our first time in Malta and we chose The Phoenicia to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. The location is superb to visit the amazing Valletta and Three Cities and with the transport hub virtually on the doorstep it is easy to get access to the rest of Malta. The hotel is one of the very best we have ever stayed in, from the minute you walk in you experience the luxury and magic this hotel offers. The decor of the hotel and rooms are so opulent yet homely and comfortable. Everything we experienced from the luxury bathroom products through to the exceptional food and drinks offerings were definitely value for money. All the staff from the housekeeping through to the restaurant , pool, bar, spa and management made our stay so very special nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely be back

Superb!
Everything about this hotel was wonderful: the accommodation; the staff; the cleanliness; the food; the facilities.
Many hotels claim to be luxury but this is a genuine luxury hotel. We had a fabulous time and would definitely consider looking at other hotels in that chain for future holidays.

Perfect….and more!
From the minute we arrived at this beautiful hotel everything was perfect. We arrived at the hotel early before the official check in time expecting to leave our luggage and return later but our deluxe sea view room with balcony was ready which was a bonus. Check in was a quick pleasant experience and we soon found our way to our gorgeous room. The room was equipped with everything we could possibly need (and more) a well stocked mini bar and snacks were also available (some complimentary, some chargeable) on arrival. Breakfast was excellent, a good choice of both continental and cooked options, very good selections of fruits, nuts and healthy options too. Fresh tea and choice of coffee brought to the table and kippers, eggs Benedict etc also available freshly made from the menu. Table service was quick and efficient always delivered with a friendly smile and none of the constant clattering of plates and cutlery we’ve experienced in previous hotels. All in all breakfast was a very relaxing and enjoyable start to the day and didn’t feel in any rush to leave whatsoever. Spent every day around the pool, just the walk to the pool in itself was an experience, the gardens are absolutely stunning on the walk down to the pool. The pool,itself was an infinity pool with fabulous views of the harbour and beyond, loungers were comfy with padded mattresses and towelling covers and a regular towel too. Service around the pool was quick and attentive always delivered with a smile and a friendly chat, had a couple of lunches off the menu delivered to our loungers which were excellent. Whilst we were there Malta Fashion Week was taking place and a number of the events were held at the hotel. This didn’t impact on our stay in any way, quite the opposite, it was lovely to see the models taking part in photo shoots on the terrace below our room, we had a Birds Eye view, brilliant!! To sum up, this hotel is perfect in every way, by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we will be back. Thank You

A lovely hotel in a great location
The Phoenicia is a lovely, grand looking hotel in a great location. You can easily walk to the many restuarants and museums and shops in Valetta. Our room had a spectacular view and was very well equipped. The staff are extremely helpful and professional. The swimming pool is glorious. Highly recommended.
