Palazzo Consiglia is a traditional Maltese townhouse situated at the heart of Valletta in St Ursula Street, just a few metres away from the St Rocco's church and key attractions such as the Lower Barrakka Gardens, Valletta Waterfront and Fort Saint Elmo. This flawless building portrays Malta's rich history, with a predominant Baroque design in the lower floors, and Roman and Arabic features that can be observed in the newest parts of the Palazzo. The restoration of this building was undertaken with as minimal intervention as possible, in order to preserve its essence and expose the grandeur of the limestone work present in its interior. The façade has been meticulously cleaned, exposing architectural characteristics that have been illuminated with carefully selected lighting fixtures.

Excellent value and superb hotel
This is a great hotel with great personal service from all the staff. They’re super helpful with showing you where to go and arranging transport. The suites are beautifully appointed and the bottomless mini-bar (in the rate I booked), was very nice.
The little rooftop pool is great for relaxation in the afternoon.
Breakfast is a buffet but it’s fresh and has a good selection.
It’s very peaceful here and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Just Charming
A few days spent in this charming hotel was a real refresher. Lovely individually themed rooms (We stayed in Mediterranea) make this place pretty unique. The staff were very friendly and attentive and really helped to make our stay so enjoyable.
Its within 5 mins walk of pretty much everything you want to see and do in Valetta. Breakfast was excellent either from the a la carte or the buffet. On the roof there are loungers and a small pool if you need to relax even more
Underground was a spa area with Steam Room, Sauna and Hot tub (Massive)
And its lovely and quiet so sleep in those huge comfy beds was really good

Excellent Boutique Hotel in Valletta
Excellent Boutique Hotel ideally situated for the centre of Valletta. This is our second time staying at this hotel, it is small but perfectly formed (13 rooms). The staff could not be more helpful. Each room has a different but unique character, it has a small rooftop pool and a Spa downstairs.
Beautiful Hotel, excellant location and lovely staff
We stayed for 3 days over the Notte Bianca weekend. I cannot fault this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is excellent and there is also an a la carte selection for breakfast. The staff are so helpful, friendly and happy. Location excellent, Very close to all every where, I would stay here again without a doubt. Thank you Palazzo Consiglia for a greet stay,

Another perfect visit
We have just had our third visit to this lovely hotel. This beautiful traditional Palazzo is just a couple of streets from the centre of Valletta but is peaceful. Each room is beautifully deocorated in a unique way and the beds are super comfy. A coffee machine, chilled water and fluffy robes and towels feel very luxurious. We really enjoyed some R&R at the rooftop pool and in the unique spa, the latter of which you book for a private hour each day. Breakfast is amazing- there is a very well stocked buffet selection, including maltese specialties, and a fantastic selection of cooked options too. The hotel is immaculately clean and well kept. The staff here are lovely and really look after you well with a genuinely warm welcome and attention to detail. They are the best asset of the hotel and one of the main reasons we keep coming back. It's like our little haven of peace and loveliness where we can relax properly. 5 stars is not enough. Thank you! We will be back!
