A special experience
Unique hotel central to all sightseeing musts. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, breakfast on the terrace is a joy and so nice to be served with everything you desire. Highly recommend.

Exceptional staff, especially on Reception and at Breakfast. Faye, Jennifer and also the concierge team were always helpful and supportive. The breakfast was the best we have ever been served. Amazing! Beautifully presented, delicious and cooked to perfection. The Breakfast team were absolutely fantastic; Craig, Katho, Meridol… EVERYONE… thank you so much for always being so kind and caring towards us throughout our stay. We really appreciated your cheerful hospitality. The bedroom was immaculately clean with gorgeous toiletries. If we were to be a bit picky, we wished there had been some drawers in which to keep our belongings, so we lived out of our suitcases; not a huge problem but it would have been nice to have properly unpacked. Rest assured, it didn’t spoil our stay. We obviously understand the constraints of the lovely old building and the restrictions of the space available. Thank you all for a wonderful time.

Not Great
Had very high hopes for our 7 night stay, but left feeling disappponted. Location is superb, couldnt have been more central. Reception and Breakfast staff are super friendly, roof top bar the opposite! Got the impression we were a burden. Room, very dull and lack of drawers meant living out of the suitcase. Stayed B&B and was very disappointed with the breakfast, service very friendly but very slow, food often served cold, it put me off staying for lunch or dinner.

Black dark rooms
This hotel is right in the middle of the busy tourist area in Valetta within walking distance of everything. We were upgraded to a room at the front.The room is small dominated by a massive tv it has hardly any storage and as it was painted black it was like living in a cave.The good news is that it had good soundproofing from the noise outside although this meant it was dark all the time not a room you would want to stay in for long. The breakfast on the outside terrace was a delight and Craig and his team made our stay special The roof top terrace was also lovely although be aware the swimming pool is a very small plunge pool. The stay was made special by the staff although I wouldn’t stay there again due to the black rooms
