Verdi St Georges Bay Marina

Firstly to start I will say that the hotel staff and management we absolutely amazing, very attentive, helpful kind and always very polite, the rooms are ideal for it's purpose although slightly dated and in need of some tlc, the views from the balcony were spectacular and the sole reason why we booked this hotel, although a few cranes were in sight, the verdi does not have its own pool although you can use the other pools,, The hotel offered breakfast which was a mixture of cooked breakfast cereals, pastries, fruit along with other food, good selection of hot and cold drinks, the half board was offered via choosing which restaurant you wanted to dine at, we tried 3 different ones and all were amazing, very large meals and always 3 courses. Now for the negative, the construction works leading to the hotel and opposite the hotel were really bad, the noise, dust, cranes, wagons builders, dangerous make shift walk way to pass by were relentless, work starting at 7 am till 9pm was constant and the only access to the hotel was passing through the building site I have just described, I am not saying this was the hotels fault because this was totally out of there control, however our tour operators should have informed us of this, I had read some reviews re' construction work and called regarding this and they informed me that the work was minimal and this would not affect our holiday, which in fact it did, I am so disgusted that we were deceived, had they had been honest we could have moved our holiday to a different area or destination, AGAIN THIS IS NOT THE HOTELS FAULT AND ONCE THE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED THE HOTEL AND TRANQUIL LOCATION WILL BE THE PERFECT HOLIDAY

Our stay at Verdi St. George’s Bay Marina has been absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived until the day of our departure, every single experience exceeded our expectations.

The hotel enjoys a perfect location in the heart of St. Julian’s, right on the seafront, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Everything is within walking distance, yet the atmosphere remains peaceful, elegant, and relaxing. The hotel offers several beautiful swimming pools, an excellent spa, and outstanding facilities that make every day of your holiday enjoyable.

One of the highlights is the incredible variety of restaurants throughout the resort. Whether you are in the mood for Mediterranean cuisine, Italian dishes, fresh seafood, or a refined fine dining experience, there is something for everyone. Having such an impressive selection—including a Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant—makes this hotel a true paradise for anyone who appreciates great food.

Breakfast deserves a special mention. It is simply one of the finest hotel breakfasts we have ever experienced. The variety is exceptional: fresh fruit, pastries, local specialties, cheeses, hot dishes, eggs prepared in different ways, freshly baked bread, desserts, excellent coffee, and much more. Everything is beautifully presented, fresh, and constantly replenished. Every morning feels like a luxurious culinary experience.

However, what truly makes this hotel unforgettable is its people.

Our first impression began at the reception, and thanks to Kesar and Amit, it could not have been better. We experienced a small issue during our stay, but they handled everything quickly, professionally, and with genuine kindness. They made us feel welcome from the very first minute, patiently answered every question, provided all the information we needed, and ensured that our holiday started stress-free. Their professionalism, warmth, and sincere hospitality perfectly represent the high standards of this hotel.

Throughout our stay, we realized that every member of the team genuinely cares about the guests. Everyone is welcoming, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. It is this atmosphere of kindness and genuine care that makes you feel not like a customer, but like an honoured guest.

The restaurant team also deserves the highest praise. Every breakfast was made even more enjoyable by their warmth, attentiveness, and excellent service. They are always smiling, happy to help, and create an atmosphere that makes you look forward to every morning.

A very special thank you goes to Manahang and Jagadish. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to every guest are truly exceptional. They remember guests’ preferences, happily recommend dishes, notice even the smallest details, and always make everyone feel welcome.

Manahang deserves special recognition. You can genuinely feel that every cup of coffee he serves is prepared and presented with care, pride, and sincere respect for his guests. He remembers your preferences, anticipates your needs, and always greets you with warmth and a smile. It is this personal touch that transforms an ordinary breakfast into a truly memorable experience.

We would also like to thank Caya and Mike for their outstanding professionalism. They are always organized, approachable, welcoming, and ready to help. Every interaction with them is pleasant and effortless. Their positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent service make them wonderful ambassadors for the hotel.

What impressed us most was the consistency of the service. Every member of the team works with passion, professionalism, and genuine pride in what they do. You can clearly see that everyone shares the same goal—to make every guest feel comfortable, valued, and happy.

By the end of our stay, we realized that this hotel offers much more than a beautiful location, luxurious facilities, delicious food, and breathtaking sea views. Its greatest strength is its people.

Leaving this hotel is genuinely difficult because the staff make you feel at home from the very first day. Thanks to their warmth, kindness, and exceptional service, this has become one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have ever had.
