Amazing hotel
Great hotel, lovely area,lots to do
Fabulous experience
An amazing experience in Malta at InterContinental. Staff were all terribly polite and friendly. We had access to Club lounge facilities that was a welcome experience with a huge array of food for breakfast, light snack early afternoon and pre-dinner drinks. The facilities were amazing, access to huge gym, lovely indoor and outdoor pool. Great location! If you stay, ask for rear access door, saves walking.
Good service poor room.
Booked 2 junior suites one room was supposed to have space to sleep 4. Being a suite you would expect 2 comfortable beds maybe a double and 2 singles. We got one rock solid double and a sofa bed that made the loudest and most annoying sounds every time you moved on the bed. I think the floor would have been more comfortable. In to the bathroom the hairdryer on the wall started smocking when you turned it on and didn’t blow any air just heated up within 5 seconds then cut off and blew smoke out. We booked the junior suites for the purpose that we could use the infinity pool and bar on the top floor. We get to the hotel and there closed for the season despite it saying on the website it was open. On a high note the staff in the lounge on the 15th floor couldn’t do more if they tried they were amazing and always had a smile on their faces. The indoor pool and facilities were very good as well but the room really brings the rating down because it was very poor.
Amazing hospitality team in Club lounge
The guest lounge was packed during the evening rush, yet the service staff—especially John, Kamal, Asal, Jonah worked as a team on duty. They all handled everything with remarkable grace and speed. We never waited long for a drink or a clean table, and they still took the time to chat warmly and check in on us. Truly top-tier hospitality in a high-pressure environment.
