With a fabulous location a few meters away from the Sliema promenade, the ST Blubay Apartments offer a great location for your holiday. Sliema's popular shopping centre with its cafes and restaurants is close at hand, offering a wide variety of entertainment and relaxation. Being part of the ST Bayview Hotel, guests are able to share the facilities and in fact, meals are served in the Bayview Hotel’s restaurant which is located approximately 350 meters away. Additionally, the Tria Restaurant offers a tasty set menu or buffet daily (based on hotel occupancy). Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the property.

Air-conditioned studio apartments are spacious and comfortable. All apartments are en suite complete with a walk in shower, and some have a french balcony with an inland view. They also feature TV, living area and self-catering amenities and free Wi-Fi (within the apartments). One bedroom apartments which have a balcony and 2 bedroom apartments are available at a supplement.

The apartments are terrible.
We were put in a room with broken air conditioning and told we could have a fan as compensation! After complaining we were given a room at their hotel which was lovely so all was well in the end but we felt we could have been palmed off!

biased restaurant clothing policy
1st day within the first hour was the first of many bad experiences, the guy who was allowing people was behind the reception desk while we were checking in, bear in mind we took off at 5am in cold britan, so i was in a jeans and jumper in 37° Malta weather and all I had in my carry on was a pair of shots and a 1 piece swimsuit, so i put both on to cool off and so I could go into the restaurant, and on the door is the same guy I saw earlier and he refused me entry because of my swimsuit, meanwhile a girl my same age walked in with a bikini top and shorts on and got let in, the only difference was our chest size, and looking into the restaurant over half of the people were in swimsuits and because your cases were in the holding room I couldn't access them and I didn't feel like digging though 4 cases of stuff to find something that this guy found appropriate and we still had hours until our room was ready and all he kept saying was it was policy even though there were so many other people in there with them, so basically I wasn't allowed in there, with quite a modest swimsuit compared to what the others were wearing
Awful
This place is awful. Do not book. It’s a very expensive youth hostel. Full of drunk late teens, smoking, making loads of noise. The room is awful, falling apart, front door lock doesn’t work properly. Handles missing on bedroom doors, curtains hanging off the rails, no hot water. It did not feel safe for our family. We were put in an apartment block 4 streets away from the main apartments with no 24 hour security or front desk. The pool is unsafe- no steps in and hand rail falling off. The pool photo on booking.com is of a local PAID pool- nothing to do with the apartment at Costs €30 per person! We booked 4 nights but checked out after one and demanded a refund.

First of all, i want to give an huge thank you to Vinnie and his hospitallity during my stay at the hotel. Due to suffering an injury on holiday. I had limited mobility but Vinnie and the rest of the staff on shift on the 5/10/2026 were very helpful in assisting me and helping me get comfortable.
They even helped source crutches for me and communicate with the pharmacy.
The room was clean and spacious enough for me to get around and would have been a more enjoyable experience without my injury.
I could go on forever on how grateful i am for the service carried out by Vinnie but i will reward him later.
This is good hotel to stop in but a great hotel to be in due to the care the staff showed me during my stay.

Great service by penny
We stayed for a month, and although our initial experience wasn’t quite what we had expected, Penny truly went above and beyond to turn things around and make our stay a positive one.
When we first arrived, the room did not meet our expectations, but Penny was incredibly accommodating and took the time to personally show us an alternative place that better suited our needs. Throughout our stay, she consistently checked in to see if we needed anything and reassured us that we could reach out to her at any time with questions, concerns, or any issues that arose.
What really stood out was her willingness to listen, her genuine care, and her commitment to ensuring we felt comfortable and well looked after. Despite the disappointing start, Penny completely changed our overall experience through her kindness, professionalism, and proactive approach.
We are very grateful for all her help and efforts. Having someone like Penny there made a significant difference, and she deserves recognition for the way she handled the situation and ensured we had the most comfortable and enjoyable stay possible. Thank you, Penny, for going the extra mile!
