Equipped with satellite TV, telephone, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi plus a safe you'll be well set up for the holiday. Please note that, due to their position within the building, the views from Economy Rooms may be partially or fully restricted, and do not have a balcony.
So what's on the agenda? Perhaps a quick dip in the outdoor pool^ (open from May to October) or even a couple of hours in the hotel leisure centre, complete with indoor pool.
^ The outdoor pool area is across the road (with a zebra crossing) and 150m to the left of the hotel.
Then there is the spectacular Bar & Grill area where you can enjoy sipping on a cocktail, a gym and the Preluna Hotel and Spa's very own diving school to enjoy. All followed by a meal in one of the restaurants or the Japanese Restaurant.
As well as all of that, the Preluna Hotel in Sliema is famous for its Feel Good Wellness Spa*, with heated pool, whirlpool, sauna and beauty salon; massages are also available to ease away all the stresses of life before your holiday!

This modern and elegant hotel, right on the Sliema seafront, has long been a popular choice with our clients. The main shopping and entertainment areas of Silema are within five minutes stroll and the nightlife of St Julian's is a 15-minute walk.
Not 4 stars but clean rooms and satisfactory beach club. Location is good and the walk to St Julians is nice due to the lengthy promenade.
The hotel is clean all over, our room was spacious but the immediate view from our room at the rear of the hotel was building site/derelict buildings. Great views further afield though & particularly from the roof bar. We ate breakfast once & it had everything you need but we just were not hungry after eating late the night before. No outdoor pool attached to the hotel & sun-beds very ltd over at the “beach club” the other option is the adjacent rock slabs. Staff all really good, nice area with around 10 restaurants (The Fort over the road has a great seafood platter) etc & easy 10 min walk to St Julians & the main Sliema shops, harbour bars/restaurants. Get the ferry to Valletta it’s stunning day & night (return 10€ for a couple & takes 15 mins). A great 10 nights & we ran out off time so we’ll return.
We arrived at the hotel at about 12.00. Receptionist was polite and friendly. It was explained to us that the room would be ready about 2.00pm. They arranged for us to leave our luggage in the luggage storage room. We did this and came back just before 2.00pm. Our room was ready. We were given our room cards and explained where our room was. Upon entering our room we could see it was big, spacious, light and spotless clean. Our large bathroom was on the left with a large walk in shower and a bath. In house shampoo, conditioner , body was and hand soap.In front of us was in table with two chairs for dining. A wardrobe. A sink with storage. Including a cupboard with crockery and cutlery. And washing up liquid. A sofa and wall mount TV. A balcony with two chairs and a table. Further to the left was an open plan bedroom with king size bed.anither wall mount tv. Two side tables. A dressing table with a small mirror. A chair to sit at the dressing table and a luggage rack with drawers underneath. There was a large Juliet balcony and another balcony with table and two more chairs. The view was spectacular over the ocean. I was so happy. Thank you. What a birthday treat. Throughout our stay our room was kept spotless with our bath towels and beach towels changed everyday. The hotel itself is in a fabulous area with access to lots of restaurants and buses and the harbour. Making it very easy to go site seeing. We stayed bed and breakfast. Breakfast was very good. And would highly recommend to set yourself up for a great day. Staff were always polite and friendly. We heard hardly any noise from renovations at the hotel. And certainly nothing that disturbed us. Just some tiny things that could be easily rectified. A towel rail in the bathroom. Somewhere to hang bath robes. A full length mirror and a plug by a mirror to dry your hair. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Loved it.
We have just come back from a week stay at the Preluna. We were all inclusive and had a sea view balcony room. We arrived just after 12pm and check in was at 2pm not a problem as we could leave our luggage and make use of the facilities so went for lunch at the beach club. I had emailed the hotel to request a double bed instead of twin and happily accommodated and left balloons, a bottle of wine and card on the bed on check in for my partners birthday. We had great meals here, loved lunch at the beach club. Didn’t use the pool purely because we used the sea access nearby instead which we enjoyed. Great staff and very clean. Great location, and easy access to Valetta, st Julian’s and beyond! Would absolutely return!
We stayed here for 4 nights, in room 1207, and checked out on July 8, 2026. While packing our bags, I noticed that my wallet was missing, along with all my documents: ID card, driver's license, health card, and approximately 150 euros in Romanian currency. I had left the wallet in my shoulder bag, which I placed among my personal belongings and the hotel’s linens/pillows.It causes real psychological discomfort to find out at the very end that my documents are missing, especially since I spent the entire stay relaxed, thinking that security issues and thefts could not happen here.I am disappointed because the staff only offered to search the room and help me check if I hadn't packed it by mistake. However, there was absolutely no effort to provide an access log for the hotel room door (entry/exit times) or to invite me to review the security cameras to clarify the situation. I felt a complete lack of involvement in helping me resolve this incident. They simply stated that I should have locked my belongings in the safe.I also want to report that for two consecutive days, someone tried to enter our room during lunchtime (I couldn't tell if it was authorized staff or not). On the last day, another tourist was so deeply disturbed by this that they furiously called for manager support. That was when I found the courage to report my own incident as well...I strongly recommend avoiding the services of this hotel!!!
