A relaxing oasis
Calm, relaxed atmosphere. All staff genuinely appear to enjoy working there. Special mention to Himal at breakfast and Dilip in The Nook, both of whom were very attentive. Food in the restaurant is excellent and not overpriced. This is a calm oasis, away from the madness of Valletta but in easy reaching distance. I'll be back!

Wonderful stay at the Verdala Wellness Hotel
Wonderful stay. From the moment we walked through the doors until the very end of our stay, everything was simply perfect.
From the very beginning, the reception staff made us feel so welcome. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality immediately made us feel at home.
A very special thank you also goes to the entire restaurant team, including the chef, manager and all the wonderful waiters. They went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests. The service was excellent, and every meal was cooked to perfection and exactly as we requested. Unfortunately, we cannot remember everyone's names, and we would never want to leave anyone out, but every single member of the team served us with such professionalism, kindness and attention.
A special mention to Clara, whose wonderful smile and caring attitude made every meal even more enjoyable. She always made sure we were happy with the food and that everything was exactly as we wanted.
And a BIG thank you to Julian, the manager, who truly deserves special recognition. He went above and beyond to make sure our entire stay was perfect in every possible way. He made our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible and always made sure we had everything we needed and liked in our room, as well as ensuring that all our requests were taken care of.
We have stayed at many hotels in Malta over the years, but we have never come across such a professional, attentive and genuinely caring manager as Julian. We were truly impressed by the way he personally made sure that every detail was taken care of.
He also made my mum's birthday incredibly special, arranging a lovely surprise in our room and another wonderful surprise at the restaurant. These thoughtful gestures meant so much to us and made her birthday even more memorable. ❤️
The rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and we particularly appreciated being able to choose the type of pillow we preferred — such a lovely attention to detail.
Overall, our experience was exceptional. Every member of the team contributed to making our stay memorable, comfortable and truly enjoyable.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Verdala Wellness Hotel for your outstanding hospitality and for making us feel so special. We left with wonderful memories and would be delighted to return. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Loved this hotel
What a great way to end a vacation at the Verdala Wellness Hotel! Beautifully designed rooms that were luxurious and spacious, a warm pool with a view, and access to the steam room, sauna, hydrotherapy dip pools, indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi. Customer service was top notch at the front desk, bar and pool. Only a 10 minute uber ride away from the Mdina Gate and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Where Luxury, Wellness & Hospitality Come Together ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
There are hotels that provide luxury, and then there are places that create an experience. Our stay at Verdala Wellness Hotel by AX Privilege was undoubtedly the latter.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt carefully considered — the atmosphere, the surroundings, the facilities and, most importantly, the level of service. This is a place where luxury and relaxation are truly on another level.
One of the things that makes Verdala particularly special is its setting. The breathtaking views from the pool area are simply spectacular, but the view from The Nook – Residents Lounge is something else entirely. Sitting there and looking across Malta, with the island seemingly spread out beneath you, is a genuinely memorable experience. It is the perfect place to slow down, enjoy a drink and simply take in the scenery.
However, what really sets Verdala apart is its people. A special mention must go to Raja and Nish from Concierge. Their professionalism, attentiveness and genuinely pleasant personalities made every interaction a pleasure. They were always welcoming, helpful and approachable, which is exactly what you hope for from a luxury property.
Samwel from The Living Room Lounge Bar also deserves special recognition. His professionalism, excellent service and warm personality made our time at the lounge particularly enjoyable. We would also like to thank the entire team at The Griffin Brasserie and The Ridge Pool Bar. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive and professional. The consistency of the service across the different areas of the hotel was impressive.
The Wellness experience was another highlight of our stay, and a special thank you goes to Kelly Jane and Shirly. Both were exceptionally professional, welcoming and genuinely committed to making the experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Please do not forget to book a massage, worth every penny!
I would also like to mention Julian, who I believe is the hotel manager. His presence and the professionalism of the team around him are a reflection of the standards being maintained throughout the property. It is clear that there is a strong emphasis on both service and the overall guest experience. What impressed us most was that the hospitality never felt artificial or overly formal. There was a genuine warmth and friendliness from the staff that made us feel like celebrities rather than simply customers.
Verdala successfully brings together luxury, wellness, exceptional facilities, breathtaking views and, above all, genuine hospitality. And while the surroundings and facilities are undoubtedly impressive, it is the people who ultimately make a stay memorable.
We left feeling completely relaxed, thoroughly looked after and genuinely sad to leave.
Verdala Wellness Hotel by AX Privilege is not simply somewhere to stay — it is somewhere to switch off, recharge and enjoy the very best of Maltese hospitality.

Great team and service
special mention goes to the Operations Manager, Anastasia Kaminska, who was present at a time of our checking-in and who assisted us carefully throughout our stay. Her dedication and attention to details were clearly reflected in the high standards maintained across all aspects of our experience. Our big “thanks” goes to Ms Kaminska and the other staff members for the great deal of care and effort into ensuring that guests feel welcome and well looked after.
