Complementing the restaurants are the superb, Colonial style bar with its glass topped tables and ornate features and the poolside bar with its ornate pillars and cool recesses.
Of course the main feature at the Kempinski San Lawrenz Hotel in Gozo is the spa itself. The Quintessence Spa provides a host of treatments for your inner peace and wellbeing, from aqua flow treatments and marine treatments to a transcendent four hand full body massage.

3 years in a row of excellent service, gorgeous rooms, amazing food.
We stayed at the Kempinski for three nights. The room and bathroom were of a good size, and it was well-maintained, if a little bit plain. We had a balcony area that overlooked the children’s pool, which we would recommend avoiding if you are looking to enjoy a quieter visit. The pool areas are excellent though. There is an adult-only pool which was screened from the children’s play pool on both sides with vegetation, so the noise did not interfere with grown-up relaxation. The adult-only pool is very deep - the kind for swimming and cooling off, not for hanging around in, which more than anything else seemed to naturally keep the children away. Staff were friendly and proactive at ensuring we had drinks and what we needed to enjoy our time by the pool. It was a big pool, with plenty of shade and loungers. The breakfast at the Kempinski was really excellent - very comprehensive, expansive and varied. It had all of the usual options, along with a few unusual ones, and it had a luxury feel to it. The shared spaces all had an elevated feel, especially the indoor pool and spa areas, and the coffee bar.
We had an outstanding stay at the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz and would absolutely return.
Our room was stunning: large, beautifully finished and thoughtfully renovated. The hotel is gorgeous without feeling overly formal, and the grounds and pools are as impressive as they look in photos.
Breakfast was one of the best hotel buffets we have had in a long time, with a huge selection and excellent quality. Dinner was also excellent, and the bar made a proper martini.
Service was generally warm and professional, with staff making the hotel feel easy rather than fussy. Pool-bar service could occasionally be inconsistent, but this was a minor issue that did not detract from the stay.
The location was perfect for us: Gozo’s slower pace made the Kempinski an ideal base for exploring the island and returning to afterward. Beautiful hotel, excellent food, amazing pool, comfortable rooms and an overall outstanding experience. We loved it.
Just came for breakfast today for my husband's birthday. We were served by the friendly waiter Fabien. He is very welcoming and pays attention to all guests. Highly recommended.
We had a fabulous stay at the Kempinski. We had two superior rooms at the front of the hotel, both of which were clearly newly refurbished and excellent. The hotel is beautiful, immaculately maintained and very comfortable. All the staff without exception were ready to help with anything. Breakfast was outstanding, a mix of buffet and a la carte, on a beautiful terrace. We had a really great time and would definitely stay again.
