Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Amazing hotel, close to centre and short walk to beach. Transport provided for those who choose not to walk. Staff are amazing. Anything you need, always helpful. Rooms are spacious and Cool..!. Breakfast had loads to choose from. All in all, a great place to stay.will definateley be returning soon
Ok I am going to try and be constructive with regards to my review. We had a lovely holiday but there are few things about the hotel and its location that peeved me abit!
Firstly, don’t be fooled by the photos on jet2. They are very deceptive of size and comfort. Also there is a lot of positive feedback but i would ultimately say if you are expecting 4* It’s not
It’s nice but definitely not 4* in my opinion compared to other places I have stayed across other Greek Islands. I have also stayed in Alykes.
Firstly it’s on the edge of the town so be prepared for abit of a walk to the town & beach. A private bus from the hotel Is offered, although the owner was very aggressive with his response to me not booking earlier (2 hours) I didn’t know there was a deadline. If we was closer i would of gone to the town and beach more often, but it felt like a chore especially in the heat.
There’s a lot more to see of tsvilli further on in the town so worth a venture out
Breakfast was a lot of food choices, but not the best quality, I feel if they did less choice but more fresh produce, especially the meats. Coffee awful (I’m a coffee drinker). Even worse in the room with a small kettle and instant coffee sachets. Would not say it was coffee facilities or what a 4* would offer! so it cost me 5e every time i wanted a coffee.
Staff at times seemed very unhappy with the few being polite and helpful. They seemed awkward when approaching holiday makers.
Own food or drink is not allowed on the premises other than own room, including water so be prepared for a very embarrassed staff member to ask you to put your drinks food away
The pool vibe is nice, good beds sometimes sunbed wars occur! Good music, nice bar and food options until 6pm
If you are looking to just relax and stay local it’s worth it, but be mindful of cost of holiday tax on top, and cash only.
Booked 2 rooms for my family, 1 room for 2 adults and 1 room with 3 young girls. I had already booked and paid for a pool view with JET2 for the double, this was followed up by JET2 to the hotel. when we arrived late, we had to pay extra for pool view room as they put the 3 beds in the room with the pool view and would not swap! on reflection i think they ignored Jet2s request purposely as it seems they offer upgrades to people.
Rooms were clean but small (i should of looked at the sq foot and not the photos. Cleaners came a lot and changed towels and wipe round made beds
Hotel very clean and tidy, nice choice of books to read if you forget your own
Shower heads not powerful at all
Basic tv option
Basic table and chair on the patio
All in all we enjoyed our stay and i probably wouldn’t be so frustrated but it wasn’t worth the price we paid to jet2 And as stated definitely not 4*. It could be with a few improvements
This is more to be informed than to criticise the hotel, we did have a nice time and I would recommend but with caveats
I stayed in Room 311 at the Park Hotel & Spa in Tsilivi from 6th–13th July. Unfortunately, out of the seven nights I was there, I only had one good night’s sleep. If you’re someone who’s sensitive to noise and can’t sleep with earplugs (as is the case for me), I’d strongly recommend bringing them if you can.
The biggest issue with this hotel is the noise. Every bedroom door slams shut loudly, and whether guests didn’t realise or simply didn’t care, there was constant disturbance throughout the week. One night coincided with the England football match, with guests running up and down the corridors between 3am and 5am shouting and chanting. On the other nights, the noise mainly came from doors slamming, people talking in the corridors, and guests wheeling suitcases along the hallway early in the morning.
Before arriving, I’d read several reviews describing the hotel as friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. Apart from one lady with black hair on reception, who was always pleasant and helpful, I generally found the staff to be unapproachable and, at times, quite rude.
One practical tip: bring some cash. I had no issue paying the tourist tax, but it was surprising that this could only be paid in cash. There were also two occasions when the Wi-Fi went down and the bar would only accept cash payments for food and drinks.
Another disappointment was the lack of air conditioning in the indoor public areas. Breakfast each morning was uncomfortably hot, with all the doors and windows open while the outside temperature was already around 28°C. It honestly made it difficult to enjoy the meal. There were also quite a few flies around the buffet, which wasn’t particularly appetising.
We also asked reception for a second room key, but were simply told “No” without any explanation, and the receptionist continued typing without even looking up. Only after I asked why was I told that if one of us returned while the other had the key, staff would escort us to the room. As two friends travelling together, this seemed like an unnecessary inconvenience. My impression was that the hotel wanted to discourage guests from leaving the air conditioning running while they were out.
The hotel also has several signs around the pool advising guests that outside food and drinks aren’t allowed, and staff do enforce this. However, another rule states that towels left on sunbeds for more than 30 minutes will be removed. During my stay, I didn’t see this happen once. Many guests reserved beds from around 7:30am before leaving for the beach, only returning around 2pm to occupy the best spots. It’s frustrating for everyone else, and it’s a rule the hotel really should enforce.
On the positive side, the hotel is in a good location and is generally very clean. The complimentary shuttle bus to the beach is a great addition and worked well. It would be even better if there were a slightly later service, but overall it’s a useful perk. During my stay, the departures and returns were approximately 10am, 12pm and 2pm.
Overall, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. While there are some positives, they were outweighed by the poor sleep, inconsistent customer service and a few operational issues. In my opinion, having stayed in many four-star hotels, this property doesn’t quite meet the standard I’d expect from a four-star rating.
Park hotel Zante
Review avoid at all cost this isn’t 4 star arrived 29/06 departure 13/07
Arrived 29th June was asked to pay the resort tax of 140 euros before we did any thing else this had to be paid in cash hotel owner would not accept card payment .
when looking on government website for Greece it does say you can pay by card it doesn’t have to be cash we were also offered an upgrade but this also had to be cash payment of 100 euros each
The hotel rules and regulations are absolutely ridiculous no one is allowed to bring water in from outside and drink it by the pool you have to buy in hotel
No crisps and nuts etc snacks from outside allowed all have to be purchased in hotel
I asked a member of staff at breakfast if she could make me a fresh omelette as the ones that were there had been made a while ago and were hard and dry her response was no there are some there
The fried eggs are undercooked runny and snotty breakfast very poor selection same every day
The bacon is the same old so called meat that they try to pass off as bacon all the food in hot plates looks non appetising I spoke to manager who was rude unhelpful and said all omelettes were made down stairs and they couldn’t do it although they did last year and had a hot plate grill on the serverery
when I pointed this out he said things had changed from last year
You can’t get a full piece of fruit it’s all cut up into small pieces there is only one room key given on check in supposedly for security reasons but think it’s so you can’t leave air conditioning on
There are cameras watching every move in breakfast one girl got a small piece of cake was just walking out when staff pounced and told her she couldn’t take it away
The pool area
The pool had a green stripe of green dirt or scum build up which was there from 1st July the glass partition that separates both pools has a very large crack on of the panels
Unable to access the pool to swim until 9am
There are no gradual steps in to either pool only ladders making it difficult for anyone with limited mobility to enter pool one of the ladders on the bottom pool is very loose and does wobble when being used
Swimwear is left with yellow stains after using pools
Towels in room are only changed every other day regardless of showering 2 times a day
Hotel seems to prefer cash rather than card payment I was asked what I would be paying my bill with and when I said card the waitress rolled her eyes
In the 9 days we’ve been here so far the card machine had supposedly gone down five times now so it was all cash payments receipts are not given unless asked for card machine not working today blames on power cuts but WiFi system throughout hotel is best we’ve ever encountered
Toiletries are given on arrival these are not very good quality and not replenished not even a bottle of re fill able shower gel in shower
Whilst swimming in pool another holiday maker witnessed a bottle being dropped by waitress a piece of glass bounced and hit his glasses while he was in the pool this went in to pool the waitress was informed about the glass in the pool and did nothing
We were swimming today when the same holiday maker was in the pool and we witnessed him finding a piece of glass in pool and taking it to the manager so far manager hasn’t done anything to clean the pool The jet 2 rep must have organised them to get plastic glasses around the pool as these appeared in the afternoon
There are no hand hygiene in restaurant at all for guests the only one available is in reception
receptionist spent more time outside vaping than she did on reception
Won’t be coming back to hotel
Park and Spa Hotel Review
My partner and I stayed here for the first 2 weeks of July 2026.
Key Highlights and Observations:
What Could Be Better:
Minor points but:
Summary: if you’re looking for a classy, well situated Hotel with good facilities and a relaxed ambience, stay here. Many people we spoke to were returning Guests and we are hoping to be back here in 2028.
Other:
We recommend you book trips via the Get Your Guide app as it’s cheaper. We booked the Turtle Spotting / Keri Caves trip for £23 each and for 3.5 hours on a small captained speed boat with 8 passengers it was amazing.
