Best holiday ever
I actually don't know where to start.From the private transfer from tui at the airport then to get an upgrade to a swim up room as soon as we got to the hotel.The view from the room was excellent overlooking the sea and to wake up in the morning with a view like that was a great start to the day. This is probably the best hotel we have stayed in,the cleanliness is faultless,the staff are second to none,the food variety and tastes were superb and the quality of drinks available on the all inclusive were also superb.A few wee mentions for the staff,,Ernest for his chats and service,Desiree,Angela and you can't forget Mr George who every morning greets you like hes welcoming you into his home and cooking you breakfast.Hes made for hospitality with his energy and relaxing manner it just helps your stay here even more. So all in all it's 5 stars from my wife and I. So if your looking for good food,drink and service then I would highly recommend the king jason zante to you.. The only two things I would have a negative vibe to are the location is up a steep hill and the night time entertainment. Nothing the hotel can do about the hill..but the entertainment could be worked on.
Second visit just as great
We stayed for a second time during the first week in October having been very impressed with the hotel during our first stay.We were delighted to find that the hotel had remained as good as during our first visit . On arrival we were warmly greeted with a drink and warm flannels and shown to our room which had a partial sea view as last year. The room was a good size with an excellent shower and a mini fridge which was restocked every day.The balcony was a good size with a table and excellent view. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cleaned spotlessly every day with a change of bedding and towels. The main restaurant had excellent food with a different country theme every night all freshly prepared with chefs on hand .The chilled salad room is very impressive and we were able to chose your wine from a list as part of our all inclusive package Breakfast was a highlight and I always looked forward to one of extrovert George’s omelettes There are 2 excellent à la carte restaurants -one providing Peruvian cuisine-which you can book via their app again very good There were always plenty of sunbeds with a quiet peaceful ambience round the pools and slightly higher ones near the hydro pool which are useful if you have mobility problems. As well as the pool bar there is a drinks service round most of the other pools . There are lifts to the first floor bedrooms and down to the restaurant so no need to use stairs if you struggle with them.The hotel is on a hill about 10minutes from the town and 20 from the beach but the reception staff will arrange taxis if necessary and they also arranged a tour excursion for us . Night entertainment in the cocktail bar is low key- usually solo instrumentalists- usually in keeping with the relaxed ambience of the hotel. Best to go into town if you want more. The main standout feature of the hotel is the excellent staff so helpful ,friendly and knowlegeable-from the the restaurant to the bar staff and reception- absolutely great .Nothing is too much trouble -I messed up the code on the room safe and they sorted it immediately . Thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to go a third time
Paradise
The most amazing hotel, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Just to prove it we were less than 48 hours into our stay and rebooked for next year. We stayed for 10 nights in a garden suite, gorgeous large room, completely private. Have booked the same room for next year. The food was always amazing, the drinks were excellent quality. The grounds are beautiful and so clean. A lovely view from the gym for my morning workouts. The walk into the village is only 10 minutes, same to the beach. It’s in a brilliant location and has stunning views. Couldn’t fault a thing. Apart from the hotel being absolutely stunning what really makes this hotel is the staff. They were all so lovely, friendly and wish I could name them all individually. A huge thankyou to George, such a character and now a friend, breakfast would not be the same without him. Till next year, would love to see all the same faces on our return. We had the best 10 days.
Exceptional Adults Only Holiday
Wow what a absolutely amazing experience we had at the King Jason Zante. The hotel, front of house, back of house, maintenance, and all those working at this hotel are of an exceptional high standard. Everyone was extremely helpful and made our experience absolutely fabulous. Thank you all for the wonderful hospitality right up through to the end of your season. What a wonderful team. Do yourself a favour and visit this hotel, it will set your standards to a all time new high. Thank you King Jason Zante for the best memories xxx
Fantastic hotel
We stayed at King Jason for the last week of the season, one of the last guests to leave. We loved everything about the hotel. We were greeted with fresh cold lemonade and flannels. Rodolfo and the reception team were very welcoming. We were given a tour of the hotel before being taken to our room. We had a room with a view of the pool, perfect for watching the sunrise. We ate in the main restaurant as well as Haroub and Pisco. We also did the cookery class. All the food and drinks were first class. The service at all times was exemplary. Each time we sat at the pool Angela arrived with an ice bucket with cold water and kept offering drinks regularly.
The staff make this hotel ...they all go above and beyond to look after you. Special mentions to Desiree, Rena, Dimitris and Cooney for looking after us in the buffet restaurant. Helena and the team in Haroub and Pisco. Angela at the pool and Victoria in the bar of an evening. We enjoyed the cookery class with Costa. Special mention to George, what a man. He really went out of his way to talk to everyone each day and his omelette was excellent. To see him getting emotional with his team when he was finishing for the season proved how much the team value each other. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are after peace, relaxation, great food and service.
