We had a wonderful stay at Mirage Bleu. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was rich, varied and offered plenty of choices.
The owner was kind and helpful, and made sure we could remain in the same rooms when we needed to arrange additional rooms. We really appreciated the excellent service and warm hospitality.
We would gladly recommend Mirage Bleu and are already looking forward to returning next year!
See hotel Magique. Only the rooms and are independant. The pool and bar are shared with Magique Suites and Mer Bleu beach hotel. The guests at this hotel have to go to Magique for the main restuarant and reception.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t fault the hotel! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with our own private balcony pool, which was such a lovely surprise and made our stay even more special.
The whole environment is incredibly peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. The staff are all so lovely, friendly and attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A special mention to Maurice at the front desk, who was absolutely lovely, extremely helpful and always happy to assist with anything we needed.
The food was delicious, with a fantastic variety of choices, and the drinks were plentiful with plenty of options throughout our stay.
Although late checkout isn’t guaranteed, the hotel was extremely accommodating and kindly granted ours, which we really appreciated and made our final day so much more enjoyable.
Overall, a beautiful and peaceful hotel with wonderful staff, delicious food and fantastic service. We had such a memorable stay and would absolutely return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you to all…. Room 416
Okay so probably not the best day to write a review as we have been plagued by false fire alarms going off. However it should be known that this is not a disabled friendly hotel, stairs and steps absolutely everywhere and no hand rails! Whilst there are ramps to some areas, getting to the outside bar, restaurants and pool areas requires considerable effort and determination. The restaurant in particular is a concern despite having a lift but who would have expected to do downstairs from a dining area whether via lift or stairs would require planning! The steps are lethal if food is spilt and with no handrails and a blind corner you risk being taken out by someone more able bodied. The lift to negotiate with a stick or walker and a plate of food- well you can imagine. The sun loungers are so low that they really only suit the height of a 3 year old and raising up from them requires tactical manoeuvring which ends up being undignified to say the least! I emailed the hotel twice prior to arrival to request a quiet room so in their wisdom we were placed next to both the pool bar and entertainment area (note I didn’t receive any response to my 2 emails-go figure!). The reception staff on arrival were sooooo slow and the gentleman driving the buggy thing was totally backfooted by the arrival of 4 voluptuous ladies he actually forgot where he was supposed to be taking us. The rooms are rather nice with the bonus of tea making facilities and well maintained by the cleaners who finally got the message I don’t need clean bedding daily. The food is varied and plentiful but the A La Carte restaurant is a joke as it’s only offering is burgers 🍔- who would have thought a burger was ‘A La Carte’? Some areas seem totally redundant such as the gym, playroom, upstairs outside bar area and the bar tucked out of sight at the back outside the reception area. At best it’s a 3.5 star.
After numerous Greek 5* holidays the Mirage Bleu left me somewhat disappointed. Whilst advertised as a 5* hotel - for me it sits firmly in the 3* category.
The good;
Clean modern rooms with comfy beds and efficient AirCon. Superb private pool. Great views. Friendly staff. Quiet at night (if you don't like noise). Good WiFi. Anniversary welcome gift - bottle of Asti & cake. Room upgrade - I'd booked 2 rooms. One was upgraded to allow them to be nearer to each other.
The not so good;
Small restaurant. Precarious stairs between serving & seating areas. No AirCon - it was like a greenhouse at times. Poor quality, limited & repetitive food choices. Pool bar - poor location. Limited food choices. Mini bar - on arrival contained a bottle of water - it was never replenished. Intermittent room service - requests not always actioned. Gym - smallest & worst equipped i've experienced - anywhere! Misleading 'sister 'hotels' - these are in fact separate blocks and therefore all facilities are shared e.g. one restaurant, one gym, one pool bar. Noisy airliners - the hotel is very near the flightpath to and from the airport - not conducive to relaxation.
I booked this holiday through a major tour operator - who I have used many times before - and from whom I expected more. I may have felt i'd had value for money if i'd paid half the price. As it was, it was a disappointing holiday, and it most definitely did not provide the 5* experience I paid for - the worst part being the very poor and unappetising food.
