Amazing food - lovely place
The place is overall lovely. The food is amazing in every single restaurant; special mention to the fine dining experience; it's SO worth it. Also, the wine tasting experience is great; the sommelier was very knowledgeable and nice. We have also loved the private beach; it's a sandy beach with an amazing sea. This is a place to relax, so although dinners are often accompanied by live music, don't expect late-night fun or anything like this. The thing that we didn't appreciate much was the prices of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. 8,50 euros for a bottle of still water, between 21 and 25 euros per cocktail.... It's WAY too much. The service is overall very good. Also, very important, the place is clean and very well kept. The last comment is on the SPA. It's tiny. For one or two people at a time. But they have a big indoor pool and the massage was amazing.
Give Lesante Blu a miss if don't want hard sales
Lesante Blu, lovely beach and water lovely for swimming and snorkeling.
Very disappointed by the rest of the experience here though. Being charged for water at meals is a joke, the hard sale on drinks and wine is terrible. To watch the staff celebrate with each other when they got a sale from a poor unsuspecting person on there own who were just happy to have a chat, was absolutely disgusting. Lots of staff hanging around at meal time, made to feel bad if you didnt want all 5 courses, so much so we didn't go for dinner a few evenings. The drinks are very expensive and the atmosphere in the bars was non existent, seats low and uncomfortable.
The evening entertainment was dismal,although the time you got through the 5 courses and your expensive wine...you miss most of it and it seemed nobody else bothered, dead atmosphere.
Thankfully we found a supermarket and a great bar about 15 minutes walk from the hotel...we had dinner here one evening, the atmosphere was great, staff were brilliant, friendly and genuine...aka not on commission for sales!
And finally dont waste your money on a private pool...not private can almost see the whole row of suites pools from your balcony and the pools are entirely in the shade so absolutely freezing, not usable at all..we seen many people get in and get out straight away like we did.

Super adult only hotel with spectacular view.
Wow what an amazing hotel, the staff are the best ever. We were greeted by three lovely ladies, Eleanor took us through the booking int process for the hotel. During our stay she was always so friendly. Our room was really great overlooking the sea. It was very large with a great bedroom, seating area and bathroom area. The bed was super, with lovely very clean bedding. Housekeeping were amazing both during the day and with an evening turndown service. Teacake coffee provided and water replaced each day. There was a bath, separate rain shower and a separate toilet. All well maintained and we had great towels and toiletries. Our balcony was superb, great view plus a great settee. We were BB & half board. The breakfast selection was superb their croissants were the best ever!! OMG what a great 5 course menu every night. Infact too much for us each evening. A big shout out and hug to Marina the greeter, plus Chrysanth, Fabio, Armela and Georgia. They were brilliant ( sorry if I spelt your names wrong). Finally the pool area with great comfy sunbeds and a beautiful infinity pool, just a bit cold. The small beach area with sunbeds allowed access to a warm sea though. Great helpful staff at the pool too. Plus on our last day you can use a complimentary shower room in the spa. What a fantastic break, thank you so much. 🥳👏👏👏

Great hotel
A lovely 5 star hotel. Like all the other reviews the staff really stand out as something special. They are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Not in your business but available when you need them. They all get on so well together and treat you as an extension to this ‘family’. Whether it’s a friendly smile and chat with Dimitis at the Beach Bar (wonderful for lunch even if you’re in your beach gear) or a joke n wink with the ever hard working Elli at the Ostria Restaurant (our favourite for dinner - relaxed and near low key entertainment) they make you feel at home.
Breakfast is an extensive buffet with a good selection of à la carte options. It can get busy but they operate long breakfast hours so good for adapting to the uk time difference on the first few days. Lookout for Armela who is always working so hard and yet even when super busy you can always catch her eye for more drinks or help.
Things to note: The pool is wonderful for proper swimming but very cold. Perfect for me but not for everyone. If you use the spa (lovely massages) then you can access their facilities for duration of your stay including a heated pool good for swimming not just relaxing. You can ask for a takeaway box at breakfast. Location is quiet but there are kids on local beach which can get loud on occasion. Hotel is a medium-long walk away from most things. Ok if hiring car or happy to pay for taxis.

Lovely hotel but expensive to eat there
We had a week at the Lesanth Blu in Late September and early October. The weather was warm and very sunny even then. We booked a luxury hotel and got what we paid for. The room was spacious with a beautiful seaview and balcony. The staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The included breakfast was very nice and had lots of options although the hot food was perhaps not as good as you might expect for that standard but that has often been the case in Greek hotels we have stayed in. The pastries and croissants were superb. The main issue for us was the cost of the food and wine if eating in the hotel. It is priced very highly indeed. Just because you want a luxury room, doesn't mean you also want highly priced lunches and dinners. When we were greeted on arrival, I asked about local facilities in the village and was told by our welcomer that it wasn't very nice and the the food was horrible in some places. She couldn't have been more wrong. We ate all our lunches and dinners in the local restauarants a 10 minute walk away and got delicious traditional Greek menus with local wine for two people between 60-70 euros a night - the price of the cheaper bottles of wine in the hotel restaurants. We only ate in the hotel on our first night as we didn't know where to go. It was 55 euros a head for 5 courses and wine at 71 euros - although I think my husband hadn't spotted the cheapest at 56 euros ! The app which they want you to use said there was a wine at about 31 on the menus it displayed but I was told by one of the staff not to go by the app - so why insist we use it . Anyway I don't want to end on a bad note, so the hotel itself was lovely, we enjoyed the bean bag sunloungers overlooking the sea although I guess we were lucky to get them 3 days in a row as it was late season . People preferred lounging round the rather cold pool , but swimming in the sea was very warm although a little rough on some days. All in all a nice introduction to Xante which we had not visited before.
