Ideal for beach vacationers, this hotel lies in Amboula, just a few steps from the sandy beach. There is a bus stop right next to the building. It is about 6 miles to Zakynthos (ZTH) Airport. The hotel has an elevator and features 161 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A laundry service and a lounge are available. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the parking lot. The standard amenities of some rooms include a balcony or terrace, providing extra room for relaxation. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A flatscreen television with satellite channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable vacation. A hairdryer is provided in the bathrooms. A high alert nightmare
Lovely location with bars, restaurants & shops within walking distance. Food & drink was average however they have a serious wasp issue.
Fire alarms go off during the night once a week - we had one at 12:30am & 3:30am which was alarming and was a big interruption to our holiday. They also went off several times during one afternoon around the pool & woke us up at 7:30am - none of these alarms were told were going off to guests, given any warning and seem to go off at anytime in the day.
The wasps bother you from breakfast through to dinner, can’t sit outside during meals and they are insufferable by the pool. The hotel have no sign of trying to deter them by traps/deterrents/candles etc and show no sign of changing that. They are all over the food & around the bars at all times of the day and just pests. You waft them away and they come straight back.
Rooms are also average, if you are wanting to upgrade it is very expensive - we weren’t aware that room upgrades mean you are in a completely separate part of the hotel. We found the photos on the website to be quite a catfish of the actual resort. Staff are amazing, very friendly and accommodating and really the only positive that can be given about this hotel.
The above has seriously affected our time to relax & enjoy our holiday and we definitely won’t be returning back here
A pleasant end of season stay
A lovely holiday in a very pleasant hotel. We opted for the 'My Favourite Club' experience and had a very good sized room/suite. Everything in good working order and extremely comfortable. Cleaners maintained rooms very well and the views are very good. Food is average. Nearly always found something to suit our tastes (we are not fussy eaters). Nothing particularly stood out as exceptional when it came to cuisine. And often a lot of dishes took time to be replenished in the buffet which lead to even less choice. I believe the poor offerings are down to our visit being in the last week before the hotel closed for the season and stock was running low. Most bars were very good and all staff were very friendly and efficient. The main issue we had were wasps. Everywhere. All day. The poor bar staff at the outdoor bars were swarmed with them every day and guests opting to have pool side drinks ended up being attacked too. I understand that there is only so much can be done outdoors to deter wasps but the bar staff really should have had more done by management to protect them. Location of the hotel isnt too bad. It is somewhat remote but there are a couple of other hotels, a few bars, restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk so gives guests options if they wish to stretch their legs. There is a local bus service but this does not run with much regularity though it is cheap and easy to use!

Not a recommended stay
The staff provided excellent service, but unfortunately, the hotel fell short in several areas. Unpleasant drain smells, inconsistent housekeeping, dirty floors, unchanged bedding and used glasses left in rooms raised concerns about hygiene. Glasses left around the pool attracted swarms of wasps, making relaxation uncomfortable. The hotel felt outdated, with below-standard all-inclusive drinks, poorly maintained gym facilities and limited poolside space. Entertainment was virtually nonexistent, leaving the atmosphere rather dull. Overall, the accommodation and facilities did not meet my expectations. Sadly, my first solo holiday was disappointing, despite the staff's friendliness and helpfulness.
Amazing view
The hotel had stunning views overlooking the sea. The staff were amazing and always happy to help. A wide variety of food available for each meal time. The only negative were the wasps, they were everywhere and our daughter is terrified of them.

On the whole this place is lovely if you’re older, not vegan/vegetarian and like a generic holiday.
The location is gorgeous, on the seafront with views to die for. Easy access to the sea and the pool is equally easy to get into (you may freeze though).
For us (younger married vegan couple) we found certain aspects of our stay very difficult.
For one don’t expect a lot of variety if you are vegan/vegetarian we ate the same thing everyday for our stay (not for want of trying/asking for more options). Secondly as mentioned in other reviews here the wasp situation is terrible, they are everywhere and will swarm you during meal times and whilst outside. The hotel doesn’t seem to do anything about it either. We went out and got ourselves a wasp spray as we know other people did too. We believe this shouldn’t be the case in a 4 star resort.
We visited towards the end of the season for Zakynthos (late October) the entertainment provided wasn’t what the schedule had planned, very similar each night (quiz and then music).
The staff on the whole were incredible, the entertainment guy was fantastic with the limited options he had available to him, the bar staff especially Tony was brilliant (very funny, and honestly couldn’t do enough for you). The reception staff were friendly, kind and genuinely warming towards us. Higher management seem very rude and didn’t engage with the guests at this hotel, it seemed the regular staff have to work so much harder than arguably they need too.
This place is geared towards older British people who want a holiday with no change and typically British food, if this is your cup of tea this place is amazing for you.
Two tips if you do stay here:
- Buy wasp spray
- If you’re vegan/vegetarian you will struggle unless you like the same limited options everyday.
