This is an environmentally-friendly hotel that cares greatly about sustainable growth that has a unique approach to hospitality located in Agios Sostis in Laganas Bay. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the 9 km sandy beach, one of the longest in the Mediterranean, and perfect for exploring the rest of Zakynthos. The place is also conveniently located for the town shopping centre (500 m.) and just 6 km from the airport.
The friendly staff will help guests to hire bicycles or rent a car to see the protected nesting turtles and visit the beautiful landscapes of this, the 3rd largest Ionian island. Otherwise visitors can just sit and relax by the pool and enjoy cold drinks and snacks. A home-made breakfast is provided with freshly-baked bread and cakes, free-range eggs, oranges and plenty of olive oil. Guest's special events are celebrated with a free bottle of wine.

Won’t be returning here any time soon
Sad to say the food weren’t very good same old food every day and every night the alcohol was awful. The place looked a bit scruffy. The standards have slipped the beaches down the road in the sea with dirty full of cans condoms underpants socks won’t be coming back, sad to say very scruffy place now.
Would recommend but wouldn’t go for more than 7 days
We stayed for a week at the Castelli Hotel, and overall we had an absolutely amazing holiday. The food was absolutely gorgeous every meal, every day. Huge variety of food, which was a huge bonus, never the same. The A la Carte was immensely nice. Met some fantastic people there, who we have made great friends with within our short stay. All the staff were extremely helpful and polite, apart from a handful of the gentlemen who worked there, and one of the cleaning staff, but nothing major. The 4 stars due to absolutely freezing cold pool no heating. The door on our room doesn’t fully shut unless you slam it or FORCE it shut, this can’t be helped but there were wasps ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE. Not their fault but was just something in our experience that affected our rating.
Increable stay
This has to be the best holiday we have ever had, .great location, wonderful staff, incredible food the best we have ever tasted, so sad we couldn't say goodbye to Spiros, an true gentleman in every way. Could you possibly send us some photos of the Olive harvest on last Thursday 8th October please ? I have attached a photo of Spiros which he asked us to send to him.

Castelli Hotel is an absolutely gorgeous place the staff the hotel itself the food everything is perfect it feels like pure relaxation and luxury! Will absolutely be back and cannot recommend enough
2 weeks of much needed rest and relaxation
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff with a special family feel who couldn'tdo enough for you. Room was so clean and checked twice a day if you wanted, Lovely surprise of a little chocolate on the pillow at night.. those little touches were fab. Food was lovely, didn't have a bad meal. Staff were constantly bringing out food to ensure there was enough for everyone. The only negatives I can mention were it could have done with another coffee machine as there was always a queue especially at breakfast and the private pools were really cold so didn't use it which was a shame.. Other than that, I couldn't fault the place. Thank you also for the lovely card and bottle of wine for my birthday 🎂 🥳
