Sunshine Hotel

It's the first time that my Fiancé and myself have agreed on a hotel stay. This place was nothing but perfect. On entry we were welcomed by Eva at reception, she explained literally everything from FREE use of the beach sun loungers where its usually 10€ to use them, 10% off the menu as we only booked with brekkie included, then instead of just giving us the key card to the room, she walked us to our room, showed us how everything works, showed us where the swimming pool was and gave us a welcome drink that we had at the view of the sea. Eva was just lovely to us throughout our stay. Also always available if we needed any information about how to get to places etc. Thank You Eva.

Dimitris the Hotel Manager was also very helpful, cheerful and was also always available to help. He is genuinely a very nice guy.

Anna was also a receptionist who was always smiling and helpful.

Toula & Evaggelia who are the breakfast shift was just really lovely and sweet, they loved giving us their recommendations of what to eat for the breakfast, freshly cooked hot food (I had each morning) and cold breakfasts including homemade rice pudding which was a winner for us sprinkled with Cinnamon, the pastries were very good too.

What really made this hotel great for us was that although our check out was at 11am and our flight wasn't until 7.40pm, they allowed us to leave our baggage in their reception area while we went about our day, but they also gave us access to the hotel to shower all the way up to when we left which we've not had before.

This deserves a 5/5 rating definitely, we will definitely be using this again and would like to say thank you for yoir perfect hospitality.

This hotel was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it could not have been better. The rooms were a good size and very clean, house keeping to a great standard every day.

We were shown to our rooms and shown, how to use the safe, TV, etc. We could contact the front desk at any time of day and they would be happy to help. The bathroom's were very nice, shower had great water pressure and temperature. Towels were fluffy and replaced daily.

The pool area was also nice and quaint, there were a few loungers available at all times. The pool was clean and nice for a little dip to take you out of the heat of a summer in Santorini. Poolside service was also available at certain times of day which was nice, rather than having to walk to the bar.

The continental breakfast on offer was good, a nice selection of various items, and we were always welcomed with a "Good Morning" when going for breakfast.

The staff could not have been friendlier towards us. Anything from giving us recommendations on where to go for food, what activities to do on an evening, bars to go to for good music. Nothing was too much of us to ask.

I would like to give a particular shout out to Terry, who we saw everyday of our trip. Absolute pleasure to talk to and hear about his experience of Santorini and further afield. He is a credit to the hotel.

Visited last year and wanted to come back to Kamari and Hotel Sunshine. Dimitris and his wonderful staff looked after us so well again. Such a relaxing stay and so want to go back again. Aside from Hotel Sunshine, Kamari is a lovely resort and whilst you can get buses, excursion/trips and boats to visit other locations we just relaxed in the resort. Hotel Sunshine provides beach towels to save packing and sunbeds free for guests all day on the beach. Food at their taverna with sea view (with discount for hotel guest) is really good and we ended up eating there most of the time having sampled other cuisine.
