The best hotel stay we have ever had
We have just returned from 7 nights at Strogili and all we can say is it was perfect. We are such fussy travellers and in the 17 years we have been together, having travelled a lot, not once have we come back from a holiday without a single gripe. There’s normally always something we weren’t happy with lol! Well not here! This place was an absolute dream and for the first time ever, we rebooked to return next year whilst we were still there. The hotel was clean, well thought out and peaceful. We are very bad sleepers and normally find any hotel beds, bedding, pillows, temperature of the room, brightness of the room etc do not give us a good nights sleep whereas here, we slept like logs! The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. Location was brilliant with shops and restaurants leas than 5 minute walk away. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Hotel, the staff were excellent, our room was lovely, the breakfast had absolutely everything you could think off. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and hope we can return again soon.

Outstanding
Outstanding. This hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was outstanding. The whole place was clean and special note to housekeeping for the fantastic work they did to ensure the whole place was immaculate. The bar staff were friendly and it was a pleasure spending time at the bar on an evening. This hotel Was value for a great place to stay and made our time in Santorini and absolute pleasure. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would and will stay again.
Perfect stay
Absolutely loved it! The hotel is only about 15min by car from the airport and only about a couple of minutes on foot from the beach and all the restaurants and shops. If you want to visit Fira (or anywhere else on the island) the buses run quite regularly (bus stop only a few minutes away from the hotel) and it only takes about 20min to get to Fira. The hotel's customer service was incredible from minute one. The receptionist at check in was great (sorry, I forgot her name). She was friendly and very, very helpful, providing lots of useful information. The other receptionists we spoke to during our stay were really good too (great asset to the hotel). We had one of the rooms with private pool, and what a delight it was! The room was big and super clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the whole hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was served by the pool. It was a buffet style and there was always plenty and varied food. Every member of stuff we saw was friendly and helpful, so a huge thank you to everyone for making this holiday extra special!
Disappointed!
On the whole we had a great stay, the hotel is spotless, breakfast was very good and our room was more than adequate ...We did however have an issue with the room allocated...( location wise )... we had booked and paid for a poolview with balcony or terrace.. what we got was room 206, which I can only describe as being on a walkway... definitely not a private space... and the poolview? Well kind of, if you have a longer neck than a giraffe!.. otherwise your view is of either a scruffy carpark or the walkway. We believe we had one of the worst rooms location wise on the whole complex, we were genuinely disappointed. This disappointment turned to anger at the hotels absolute refusal to move us, even though we could clearly see several rooms empty, ( and indeed stayed empty for most of the week) we asked several times and all we were told is that it down to the reservations team?.....we were left convinced that they just couldn't be bothered.... they could have so easily made our stay a five star.... We wouldn't stay again purely because of this.
