Loved the hotel and location
We stayed here for 4 nights as we were island hopping and we loved this hotel. We enjoyed all the swimming pools, the sunbeds on the beach, the location is perfet and everywhere is very clean. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The lovely reception team recommended the sunset tour of 6 people which was informative, interesting and great to see the rest of the island. We went to the outdoor cinema which was great. As we were travelling around we chose hotels close to the airport to maximise our time and we actually enjoyed watching the planes overhead. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice and differed slightly each day. There are showers with towels below reception which we took advantage of so we could swim on our last day as we had a late afternoon transfer. We really enjoyed Santorini and this hotel.

Lovely vacay in the sugar cube apartments that are the Costa Grand Hotel.
We stayed mid September 2026 for a week. On first impression, having walked around the hotel on arrival, it didn't have a 5 star feel. It felt a little bit tired here and there, the sunbeds on the beach and the bathroom products for instance were not great. But, first impressions can be deceiving. Actually the whole hotel was absolutely spotless, the staff were so friendly and the food was really good. I was happy to overlook the tiny details mentioned because everything else was indeed 5 star. The beach was very private and you can have your breakfast on the veranda just a few feet away from the sea if you wish. if not, there's also another breakfast room closer to where we were staying on the complex (rm 618). The sea was really difficult to enter from the hotel because of the very large rocks as you go in. They are really big and slippery (you can't see them from the shore but they're there)! We went further along the promenade where sunbeds are free as long as you buy a drink. Our favourite was Love Boat - the guys there cannot do enough for you. We went every day for a sunbathe and a cocktail. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone staying in Santorini.

A place where you get five star service and enjoy the real greek island atmosphere
Beautiful hotel, has a great feel and atmosphere, relaxing, spotless, close to everything. It has a hasle free feel, you exit your room and you're by the pool and the beach. Plenty of sunbeds, and all front row. Very kind and professional staff, who will assist you with anything you might need. There was some noise from the planes but you get used to it very quickly and you find yourself looking at them in amazement. The breakfast buffet has a full selection, check out the Greek specialities. For dinner we tried both the buffet and the a la carte menu which I strongly suggest to try at least one time.
The hotel is situated right at the beginning of the pedestrian street on the beach where you will find everything you need. Strongly recommended.

Great staff
The hotel staff made our visit extra special. The staff are friendly, caring and conscientious. They made our visit extra holiday extra special!
Beautiful hotel but annoying plane noise
A lovely hotel. Fabulous cleanliness and attention to detail in the rooms and general resort. We had a room with a private pool, worth every penny! It was lovely to have our own private space and relax together on our honeymoon without having to be around other people. The pool was slightly overlooked but at the time of year it didn't bother us as there wasn't many people around. Towels replaced every day and bed linen every 2. A lovely sheltered terrace and comfy sunbeds. Sun went about 3pm, it would be longer in the peak summer. Sunrise was amazing from our room. We had a mixed experience with the evening meal on half board. Some evenings there was a lot of choice and a range however some there were meats, veggie dishes and sides which did not go together. Breakfast we couldn't fault. The hotel is slightly pricey than the rest of the bars and restaurants in Kamari for food & drinks so aside from a drink with evening meal we didn't purchase anything extra.
The plane noise which others have commented about may be okay in the main hotel however we got tired of it within the private pool block as they were directly overhead and very loud. It didn't spoil the holiday however it was quite scary when dark.
I would recommend the hotel and ask for a seaview room as the views were amazing!
