Conveniently located in Thira, capital of Santorini, this hotel is a great base from which to explore this vibrant city. From here, guests can enjoy easy access to all that the lively city has to offer. The hotel is just steps away from the city's numerous attractions such as the excavations of the Minoan eruption, and Pyrgos Village.
Don't miss out on the many recreational opportunities, including a fitness centre, a seasonal outdoor pool and bicycles to rent. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and a television in a common area.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Absolutely fabulous. A beautiful serene hotel. It looked like adults only - we didn’t see any children but maybe as it is Sept, which suited us. A bit of an Ibiza vibe, everything white and very thick comfy sunbeds/day beds. No loud music. It’s Spotlessly clean. Pool area beautiful. Pool bar great with good selection of food. Food Prices are about the same as outside the hotel, we ate lunch here many days. Restaurant is open until 9:30 pm which is great after getting back from a long day trip. Breakfast is good with a great selection of everything you could want. The best coffee i’ve had in the morning too. The rooms are spacious and well kept - coffee/tea provided. Hairdryer in bathroom was fine. We had a room facing the sea and pool with a balcony. The gym is good for what you need to do on holiday. The staff are all lovely, smiling and courteous. Its a 5/6 minute walk to Fira with many restaurants, shops and bars. Use the exit by the pool (there are two) to get onto the path at the back of the pool and walk straight into Fira. Fira is quite hilly - however there is just one breathless bit on the way back to the hotel. We booked a private transfer right to the door as the big coaches can’t get up the hill to the front of the hotel. I can’t praise this hotel enough - we celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary here and its just perfect. Going home tomorrow…boo hoo 😢
Staff and location is great. No gym but lots of stairs. The stairs did not bother us but would most .We did need to speak and have the assistance of a doctor and they were able to provide one in 30 minutes which was the best.
We really enjoyed staying here! The staff was very helpful- helping us understand the bus system, taking bags to our room, and even heating up leftovers for us one night. The hotel was charming and in a great location! We enjoyed the pool. They gave us a bottle of champagne for our honeymoon! Only complaints: the food at the pool restaurant was overpriced & the pillows and bedding were not super comfy. Mattress was fine though. We’d come back :)
Our stay at Santorini Palace was a wonderful experience, and what made it particularly special was the warmth and kindness of the people. From the moment we arrived, Cristina at the front desk gave us such a warm welcome. She was extremely kind, professional and helpful, providing us with excellent information about Santorini and valuable advice on how to make the most of our stay. We would also like to recognize the entire staff at Santorini Palace. Everyone we met was friendly, attentive and always willing to help. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Cristina also gave us very helpful information about the island tour we took. We visited the beautiful village of Megalochori, a local winery, Red Beach, and finally Oia, where we enjoyed its famous sunset. A very special mention also goes to Rosario, our guide, who was excellent. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very engaging, sharing information about Santorini, its history, villages, landscapes and traditions in such an interesting and enjoyable way. She made the whole tour even more memorable. The hotel is also very well located in Firostefani, within walking distance of Fira and just steps away from the spectacular views over the caldera. In the end, what makes a hotel truly memorable is not only its location or facilities, but the people who make you feel at home. Cristina and the entire Santorini Palace team certainly did that for us. Thank you to Cristina, Rosario and everyone at Santorini Palace for helping make our time in Santorini such a special part of our journey. We will remember it with great affection and would happily recommend the hotel to other travelers
Lovely hotel situated in the outskirts of Fira, but it takes only 15/20 minutes to get to the centre. One great advantage is that one can walk out of the hotel and in one minute one is at edge of the crater where one can watch the sunset without the big crowds of Fira. I suggest booking a superior double with sea view toward the east, that way if one gets up early one can watch the sun rise from the balcony. The room was fine and comfortable. The only thing I can criticise was the shower: be very careful as the floor is very slippery and I mean ice ring slippery. We were on half board and the food was good and the portions very big. All the staff, restaurant, bar, reception and housekeeping was very polite and helpful which was a pleasant change. All in all I recommend this hotel.
