TripAdvisor Review
Very average with a few tweaks could be so much better

Location: As others have commented the location is great not too far from the airport and close to Falaraki with some shops very close by to the hotel. It also has direct access to the sea which is lovely.

Food:- Unfortunately the food really is just average - functional rather than enjoyable. Beach bar - I would suggest heading to the beach bar for your lunch as the food there is better/fresher, although repetitive with just burgers, hot dogs, gyros, chips and salad every day with fresh fruit - it is buffet style so you can help yourself as often as you liked. There is bar there and the queues as never too long. Toilets there on the whole mostly cleans and well maintained. Main dining room - it is too small for the hotel and always feels too busy and crowded. The food is ok, but often barely warm. There is a microwave near the ice cream/pudding section - I microwaved my meal one evening and it made such a difference. Breakfast - you have to go and get your coffee small mug by small mug from a coffee machine across the room, next to the orange/apple squash machine - they are not fruit juices! The eggs are cooked lightly on one side and if you ask for them to be flipped over the cook will smash your yolk. There are no branded soft or alcoholic drinks here. We used the Greek à la carte - is ok - nothing special but a bit of a change fr the usual dining room. There is also a burger à la carter at the beach bar which we have not used.

Pools - height of August and they are FREEZING, unpleasantly so, making them difficult to use. The square pool with the height sections is odd in design but done. The other pool has activities for the majority of the day.

Pool area and loungers - now I can believe no one else has mentioned this - but you will be expected to take a sun bed from a pile and place it out where you want!! That could be a real problem for elderly people or people with mobility problems - it is just WEIRD that they stacke them all up on the grassy area. Also LOUD MUSIC for the vast majority of the day - even noise cancelling headphones/airpods can’t drown it out. Only way to escape the music is to head to the beach. It is unnecessarily loud and detracts from what should be a peaceful and relaxing day.

General maintenance - generally ok but it is just scruffy around the edges with very few ground staff. There is litter around the place and uncollected cups etc when you come down in the morning - small things but just gives and air of neglect/cost cutting. Compare this by walking past the hotel next door in the morning and see how many staff they have and the attention to detail they give.

Room - fine but teeny weeny tiny bathroom. Cleaning is bare minimum but fine.

Staff - all pleasant.

Spa - have not used it - seems expensive. Also the staff come round the loungers and stand outside the dining ro trying to sell treatments which is ok the first time but after 4 times gets a bit irritating.

Gym - didn’t use.

I would not return unfortunately.

Amazing Alex at Amazing hotel

I stayed in Blue sea beach resort at Faliraki from 20th to 30th of July, really enjoyed the sightseeing 😍 and assortment of drinks was excellent, Alex on the beach bar was top notch and recommendations of surrounding area helped a lot with decisions. and generally fun place to interact with both staff and other guests. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to! But special thanks to Alex, really made the anniversary feel special! ❤️

Nice and friendly.

It's a big nice hotel next to the beach, 10 min walk from Faliraki. I was enjoying the atmosphere and the two big pools they have. They have few restaurants and bars, plenty to choose from. The staff here is amazing, polite, nothing is too much for them, especially Alexandros. Thank you so much for making our stay special.

AVOID

AVOID! AVOID 🚫🚫🚫

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and, honestly, it was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at.

The reception staff were not friendly at all. We did not feel welcome, and we had to find our way to the room by ourselves. It felt as if they were doing us a favour by having us there. This was not our first time in Greece, and thankfully, we have had much better experiences before.

To begin with, when we arrived in our room, there wasn’t even a bottle of water. We had to go to reception and ask for some. The next day, we went back to reception, and the person working there told us that water was not included in the hotel’s policy and that we would have to refill our bottle at the pool bar. Seriously?!

We also constantly had to ask for toilet paper, because if we relied on the staff to provide it, we would have been waiting forever.

Now for the main issue: the food! Oh my God, it was absolutely terrible. Well below average — tasteless, bland, and poorly prepared.

Breakfast was awful. The eggs were soaked in oil, the coffee was bad, and the scrambled eggs were so poor that I could barely even call them scrambled eggs. Terrible!

Dinner was always pork or chicken, and the side dishes were bad as well. The only food that was actually decent was at the beach bar, where they served burgers, gyros, and pita bread.

From the second day onwards, we simply couldn’t eat properly at the hotel anymore, so we ended up going to restaurants outside the hotel almost every day.

Another negative point is that the gym only opens at 10 a.m., which is terrible and very inconvenient.

The only positive things I can mention are the location, as the hotel is right by the sea, and the drinks, which were actually okay.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!
