Located opposite a golden sandy beach on the famous Greek Island of Rhodes, the hotel is a reasonably priced holiday destination for beach holidaymakers. This resort-style complex is a short walk away from the medieval city of Rhodes and the town's restaurants and popular attractions. It is also just a few kilometres away from the harbour and the airport.
The hotel is a typical white-facade Mediterranean resort hotel, located right by the beach on the well-known Greek island of Rhodes. This charming beach hotel has 115 guestrooms and a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a pub and a restaurant.
Featuring simple decor and a comfortable, homely atmosphere, the guest rooms at this hotel in Rhodes have many amenities and comforts, such as balconies with views of either the sea or the town, a private bathroom with bath tub and hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, a direct dial telephone and a radio. A fridge, minibar and individually regulated air conditioning come with the rooms as standard.
There is an outdoor pool with a poolside snack bar within the hotel grounds and, for an additional fee, guests can relax in the sauna or work out in the gym.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at hotel at the beginning of the season and found the staff very friendly and helpful Check in was smooth and the room had everything needed for a half board stay with a safe a fridge a kettle and air conditioning We enjoyed the food with a buffet breakfast and evening meal and they catered for any dietary requirements as we eat vegetarian and we always had a good choice The staff are happy to help with directions and information about the town The rooms can be noisy with other guests noise or early morning traffic but most town hotels cannot control the surounding environment if this bothers you pack your earplugs I find this helpful for naptime The pool area is small but very comfortable sunbeds The view from the room balcony was side sea view and overlooking the casino garden
Very nice and calm hotel with an excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. A small and relaxed pool area. Breakfast was good with a big variety. Standard room was clean and nice, quite small but suited our needs as we were mostly out.
This hotel was recommended by our travel agent as a great location for everything because we’d not been to Rhodes before. It was perfect. The hotel is compact and bijou and yet spacious. It’s beautifully decorated throughout. There are 6 floors with a lift and stairs. We liked the fact all the staff in the hotel are very friendly, always greeting you with a smile. They’re really helpful and give you that personal attention by way of a chat, a laugh and yet very professional. The hotel and the rooms are cleaned and tidied everyday, daily fresh towels, which we’ve found sometimes formed into designs such as 2 swans! There was so much variety of foods for breakfast and evening meals, all served buffet style, catering for everyone’s preferences and tastes, continental and traditional. The bar is linked to the hotel and serves both guests and the public. The pool and the surrounding area is leafy and a sufficient size to accommodate guests that like to relax, cool off, have a drink or coffee from the bar. We had a couple of small issues with the shower and with the AC but were promptly dealt with efficiently. The hotel is located in a great position for walking to the beach, to the local shops, market stalls, pubs, bars and restaurants. A short walk further leads to the harbour, for boat trips, or deeper into town for designer shops and the historic Old Town which is full of a variety of small shops.
We’ve just returned from a lovely holiday staying at Aquamare. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes’ walk from Elli Beach and around 15 minutes from Rhodes Old Town.
We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment overlooking the road, with a side sea view. The room was comfortable and well equipped, with plenty of power sockets and mirrors, which was a pleasant surprise. However, it was a little noisy in the early mornings due to bin collections and delivery vehicles.
The only real drawback was the storage space. The wardrobe was quite small for a family of four, and there was very little additional storage available.
We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis, and the breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice each morning.
Overall, this is a nice hotel in a fantastic location. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to others visiting Rhodes.
The room was not the room they advertised. Hotel very clean, staff very friendly. Breakfast wasn’t great if your English. Great location.
