Lindos Mare Hotel

Just back from a fabulous 10 night stay at the Lindos Mare. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a sea view which was worth every penny as the view was simply stunning. Rooms are bright and spacious with great AC (we needed that as Rhodes in August is super hot). As there were 3 of us in our room (our 14 year old stayed with us), the room could do with a little more storage, but being really picky there!).

The food was absolutely fantastic. Staying half-board, the flexibility to switch between lunch and dinner was great. Every meal was superb and portion sizes were very generous. We ate a couple of dinners at the Pelagos restaurant al acarte in the evenings and just wow, the food was on another level.

It’s the hotel staff that made the difference. Those of you that have stayed at an IKOS, will appreciate how they go the extra mile. Lindos Mare follows suit with a superb guest experience from every member of staff. Ionna, Andy and Jergen in Pelagos were our favourites and made our stay really special looking after our every need. Polina and Robert in the main restaurant were brilliant too! The dude with the moustache who makes the cocktails near reception makes the best negroni’s you’ll ever have! Also, we’re really sad we only found the Alpha Rose in the restaurant on the last day… move over Whispering Angel, literally the finest rose we’ve ever had!!!

The pool area was super. Big comfortable loungers and plenty of space (when we were there). The lifeguard was really friendly and came round for a chat each day. The beach was brilliant too, again comfy loungers and service to your lounger was great.

Our maid was so nice although I didn’t catch her name (we were in #3103). I was a little poorly whilst we were there and she checked in on me to make sure I was ok, which was so lovely!

We will definitely be back!

My husband and two teenage daughters have just returned from what can only be described as a fabulous week at Lindos Mare Hotel. We are returning guests as we came last September for a few nights to attend a friend’s wedding .

Well, where do I start , “Special”, is the word that comes to mind . As a seasoned traveller, I can confidently say that this has been the nicest family holiday I have ever had (all of my family would agree to this too)!

The rooms, the restaurants, the staff , the surroundings , the pool that feels so velvety, the food, the cleanliness, the attention to detail, the friendly staff that simply can’t do enough for you. It really is “SPECIAL”. In fact it’s a real gem. Even as I’m writing this review, I’m selfishly and somewhat reluctantly doing so. I’d like to keep it as a quite hidden gem but I simply must share!

My daughter was unwell on our final day and the staff couldn’t do enough for us to make her comfortable, which leads be to publicly thank the Front of House Manager, Krisa Katsi, for her kindness and complete professionalism! My thanks also extends to absolutely every individual that works at the hotel. A flawless service throughout!

I simply can’t wait to come back next Summer and am likely to bring extended family members with me too.

Amazing hotel. Don’t really know where to start, not a single thing we can fault. The best food we have ever had at a hotel by far. Good amount of options and the quality and taste of the food is exceptional. So much better than expected from a buffet. Also, having the option to order from a menu as well as the buffet makes the dining experience even better.

Rooms are really nice and modern, good size and we had a sea view of which the view over the beach is amazing. Cleaned daily by the maids who do a really god job. We also had 5 bottles of wine left in our room over our 9 night stay which is a very nice surprise.

The staff are lovely and do everything they can to make your stay perfect. A special mention to Andy, one of the waiters who is very friendly and was genuinely pleased to see and speak with us when we did. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see him to say goodbye so if management could pass out thanks on to him that would be appreciated.

Pool area is great, not too busy and it isn’t really difficult to get a bed. Maybe harder later on in the day but that is to be expected really. The pool its self is so nice and refreshing and we found it to be the perfect temperature.

Overall, an unbelievably nice hotel with great staff, and like I said we really can’t fault a thing. If only every hotel were this nice.
