Atlantica Imperial Resort and Spa

We are gutted to be leaving tomorrow. What a fabulous hotel and facilities. We have lived it all and Will definely be coming back. Staff are wonderful. The beach is amazing and the swim up pool is divine Thank you so much

I had a wonderful massage with Jenny! She was welcoming and very skilled! The massage was so relaxing and I felt completely refreshed afterwards.

The hotel has an immediate wow factor when you arrive with a very grand lobby; Staff were there to greet us arriving off our transfer and take our bags for us along with hot towels and a glass of Prosecco. As it was our honeymoon we were upgraded to the residences with a swim up room so the porters took us and our luggage over to the other more modern building to check in. The reception staff were extremely friendly and happy to help with any questions whilst checking in.

Overall the room looked great and we really enjoyed being able to use the swim up pool- if you’re booking one of these rooms your balcony only really gets the sun in the morning. The room was serviced twice a day so was kept well by housekeeping. A couple of things that let the room down a bit were the curtains were covered in dirty marks, the vanity mirror in the bathroom wasn’t fixed to the wall properly, the hair dryer cut out if being used for more than a few minutes as it overheated and the iron didn’t have steam so barely worked. The soap/shower gel also only seemed to get refilled if you specifically requested this. The rooms aren’t soundproofed at all so we were regularly woken early by the housekeeping teams moving their karts along the hall, you can also hear any music from the Sky bar or people returning to their rooms at the end of the night. Overall though we still enjoyed the room, these points just took the shine off a little.

Breakfast at the blue bay restaurant was fantastic and having the a la’ carte options was a really nice touch. The staff in here were all very friendly and attentive.

We regularly used the lounge and sky bar for drinks during our stay, again the staff here were great - really friendly and attentive, even took the effort to memorise your drink orders/room number.

We found the staff in the agora restaurant to be less attentive, drinks were slow to be served (if they were remembered at all) and the waiters never checked back to see if you wanted any other drinks. The buffet food was generally good with different themed nights each day of the week.

We also visited Mylos and Ginger during our stay - the menu is a bit more on the expensive side however well worth the cost. The food was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable about both the food and wine list to help with your selection.

Staying in October we had a few rainy days - there’s not a lot to do if that is the case so we used the gym and indoor pool. The gym had enough equipment that you could get an alright workout in although the weights were limited in size. Unfortunately the indoor pool isn’t heated so was pretty cold to get into.

Overall we’d definitely use this hotel again if returning to Kolymbia or another Atlantica hotel if going to another part of the island.
