Overall, our experience of the hotel grounds, amenities and staff were absolutely incredible. However, there are a few things to mention that I think are important.
Firstly, there are plenty of pool options, one 'main' pool, which is the base for the entertainment staff, a smaller kiddies pool, another smaller pool off to the side, and the infinity pool at the bottom of the grounds. We were mainly based in the infinity pool, which has both a whirlpool and a bar. With this in mind, I'm confused as to why this pool is not an adult only space? The infinity drop off becomes a liability with children, and the atmosphere of the bar doesn't fit when there are small children swimming around, I think this definitely needs to be reconsidered by the hotel.
The all inclusive options in terms of alcohol was particularly disappointing, cocktails were sickeningly sweet with various syrups. and the drinks that were offered were very weak and watered down. I would think from a business perspective, serving branded, or stronger ABV drinks would prevent people from overconsuming? Rather than weaker drinks that people sip on endlessly all day long?
My main concern with this entire experience was the situation with staffing. As guests, it quickly became blatantly obvious that certain members of staff were there from very early in the morning, working through the entire day, and closing in the evening. Whilst on the surface this seems innocent, there were several members of staff that expressed that they were over-worked (2 days off a month?!), and ridiculously underpaid (approx. 7 euro p/h), and some staff barely surviving to cover their visa costs. The front of house, bar, cleaning, and many more roles are the corner stone of these establishments, keeping everything moving, and really shape our experiences as the guests. They absolutely did not fall short on providing an incredible stay, but it feels completely immoral to allow staff to work within those conditions, and visually witnessing how exhausted they are. This is particularly ludicrous considering we paid £1500 pp for 7-nights, whilst the staff are being exploited right in front of us! For those reasons I will not continue support a business that operates in a lawless fashion. Pay your staff a wage that actually reflects their hard work!
I had an exceptional massage with Ludmilla. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome and completely at ease. Her technique is highly professional, combining the perfect amount of pressure with great attention to detail.
She quickly identified the areas that needed the most work and was able to release tension I had been carrying for a long time. I left feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed, and completely rejuvenated.
Amazing hotel! The room was perfect, the activities available, the food! Everything was amazing! The on site water park! The spa was so relaxing and the massage I had from Liudmil was incredible! Exactly what I needed!
A wonderful hotel with a beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent service. The best massage I've ever had! Professional, relaxing and exactly what I needed. I left feeling completely refreshed and stress-free. Highly recommended! Thank you Ludmira!
Hotel is very good, clean and very well kept. Great food with a varied choice every day and friendly staff. We enjoyed the blue area with swim up bar and relaxed feel. The rooms spacious and clean. Nice shower room and wardrobes.
We stayed in rooms 149 and 151 which are right next to the lobby bar doors so very noisy during busy times and especially when the lobby bar closes at 12.00 which is pretty annoying. There is also a large extract fan right next to the balcony making sitting on the balcony unpleasant.
If you chose this hotel insist on not having these two rooms.
