Mayia Exclusive Resort and Spa

We have just returned from our second stay at the hotel and have had 11 days of 5 star luxury. From checking in to our departure the staff really made our stay so memorable and relaxing. We were given the same room as before, an excellent, well maintained location with everything we needed. Food and drinks are excellent, but due to the time of year outside dining was cold in the evenings and even wearing suitable clothes we had to leave early ( maybe patio heaters could help both staff and guests). Every morning breakfast in the main dining room had vast choices of good quality food with staff being prompt and attentive to our requirements, equally same at all mealtimes. The hotel provides plenty of sun beds around the site and as many rooms are swim ups we were always able to find one. Staff around the pools are very busy keeping guests supplied with branded drinks, generously poured! The grounds are very well maintained and spotlessly cleaned by a team of hard working staff. The holiday was thoroughly enjoyed and made very special and we certainly wouldn’t hesitate to return again in the future. Once again, a big thanks to all and Yammas!

This was my third visit to this beautiful hotel and it did not disappointment. The hotel and grounds are so well maintained it still looks like it is newly opened. All of the rooms have a fantastic sea view and the glass surrounds to the balconies are a plus. The all inclusive offer is really good, especially the unlimited use of the al a carte restaurants alongside the main buffet. The buffet restaurant is also really good with the food changing nightly, but with still the basics for people who do not want to be more adventurous. All of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Special mention to Rifat, Panos, Luigi in the main bar. Daryna and Ionela in the Champagne Bar and Tasos by the pool. The only criticism I would have is that the staff are very hard working but sometimes there are not enough of them so people could get frustrated that service was slow - especially in the champagne bar and by the pool. Only one person taking and delivering drinks around the pool and only one person in the Champagne bar and they have to work the bar, clear, clean and replace glasses and provide table service. We will definitely be back

My husband and I stayed at Mayia Exclusive Resort & Spa for our anniversary in mid-October, and it was absolutely incredible. We originally booked a Premier Bungalow Swim-Up Suite but were generously upgraded to the breathtaking Maya Suite on arrival!

We had booked the Honeymoon Plus package months in advance to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the hotel coordinated everything perfectly. The seamless round-trip transfers set the tone, and walking into our suite to find canapés, a bottle of champagne, balloons, and fresh flowers was such a lovely touch. The package extras were amazing across the board. Our candlelit dinner at Flame was beautiful, and having a beach cabana for the day with fresh fruit was wonderful. The deluxe breakfast in our room was an absolute abundance of amazing food—freshly made omelets, cakes, pastries, prosecco, juices, cereal, tea, and hot chocolate. We also had a 30-minute couples massage where the therapist was amazing and left us feeling completely relaxed. We also recieved complimentary late check which was fabulous!!!!!

The Maya Suite itself is beautiful. We made really good use of our private heated pool and the lovely outdoor jacuzzi. Housekeeping was always so on it and attentive, providing a daily clean plus a lovely nighttime turndown service, and completely restocking our spirits, juices, and snacks every single day.

We also made a point to check out the entertainment and attended three of the night events. On the first night, the weather moved the entertainment into the lobby bar, where we saw a Supremes tribute, they were absolutely amazing and the singing was on point! The second night featured a really entertaining group doing upbeat songs, and another night we saw a group from South Africa doing tributes to Bob Marley and Earth, Wind and Fire, which was really good.

For dining, we visited all of the a la carte restaurants; Flame, Wasabi, the Greek, and the Italian and they were all lovely. The street food and the dessert bar were amazing too. I have to give a massive shout-out to the Korean burger and the Californian burger; they were so, so good! My only small wish is that the healthy bits and street food could stay open a bit longer. In the evenings, after having a few drinks at the champagne bar, it would be nice to be able to just grab a nice little burger.

The staff across the whole hotel were amazing. Whether we were at the beach, the pool, or the pool bar, they were really, really good, they all deserve their flowers. We honestly don't have any negative points to say. Even when there was a slight delay with our 8:15pm taxi to the airport upon checkout due to a little misunderstanding, the receptionist was amazingly good. She sorted it within five minutes, and a driver was there to collect us right away. We can't recommend this place enough!
