Great stay The full body massage with Vicki was amazing!!!

Wow, what a beautiful hotel. It is spotlessly clean everywhere.

Rooms - We stayed in room 177, which had such a beautiful sea view, and the room itself was huge. The bed was the best I’ve had on holiday. It was a superior sea view room. However, our friends had a standard room and it was just as nice. It was exactly the same, apart from the fact it was a little bit smaller. If we went back we would be happy with a standard room.

Staff - The majority of the staff were absolutely wonderful. They were always happy to accommodate anything you needed. The only miserable staff we came across were a couple in the dining room. No smiling, not even a hello. They very clearly didn’t want to be there. I must mention though, the ladies hosting (taking you to the tables) at the dining room were absolutely wonderful, especially the lady (with pink/purple hair) in the mornings and afternoons, she was super friendly and chatty.

Food - This is a hard one. You really could not fault the food at all. There was so much choice and it was beautifully presented. The desserts were absolutely delicious, I’ve never eaten so many on a holiday! The only downside is that it is generally lukewarm at best. I appreciate that people lifting the handles all the time doesn’t help. I actually waited for a new cannelloni to come out fresh and even that was only lukewarm. I think the answer is to provide a couple of microwaves for people who like their food hot.

Speciality Restaurants - We booked all three of them on Day 2, and we got in without a problem. The Greek restaurant was absolutely delicious….it was a maze and there was so much food. The FOS was also delicious. This is more like your fine dining food. The Asian was very disappointing. The food was cold, not lukewarm, cold. I met a couple of others who had been and said exactly the same. I did pass on my feedback. They definitely need to change how they present it. So I wouldn’t recommend this one unless they change things.

Pools - There are two massive pools. The top one is a bit quieter. It has a pool bar and the guy there is lovely. The bottom one is also lovely. It’s a bit noisier as it’s also next to the pool bar which serves food as well. Both pools were freezing so I can’t comment on depth etc. I can say though that the sun beds have thick cushions on them so they are super comfy. Both pools have lovely views of the sea. Just to mention, the bottom pool is down a steepish slope, so could be difficult if you have mobility issues.

Entertainment - There were some brilliant acts, especially the violinist and singer….wow. The beanbag seating is a great idea, but try getting out of them! The show started around 9pm and was generally finished by 10.30/11pm. There is no entertainment for children and no daytime activities, as this is more of a relaxing holiday. I probably wouldn’t recommend it for families if you are wanting the kids to be entertained.

Surrounding area - there’s not much around the hotel as it’s quite remote. You can walk up to the main road and there’s a couple of bars you can walk to. The hotel is on a slope. If you want to get the bus into Rhodes Old Town, there is a QR code on reception. This takes you to a website where you can book a bus. This picks you up from the hotel and drops you back. It’s 3 euros each way. I believe if you get the public bus from the main road, that costs 2 euros, but if they are full they just drive past you. This guarantees you a place and is door to door, so it’s perfect.

Overall, would we return? Yes we would because it’s a beautiful hotel…..but No, but only because we like to try new places. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was so relaxing, which is what we want on holiday. We absolutely loved this hotel and we had the best holiday.

We had a lovely 10 days at the Kresten Euphoria Resort just outside of Rhodes town, 10 mins into town by car or there is a bus stop outside. For a fairly big establishment it never felt over busy which was lovely. Large high ceilings in the main building give sense of space. Decorated in neutral colours was good, although be aware there are plenty of cats around including inside the hotel. We had a suite with pool facing the sea which was nice. Rooms generous in size including a patio by the pool, 210. Very comfortable large single beds pushed together. Decor in room probably needing freshening up. Room was clean on arrival and kept lovely throughout our stay. There was a little noise, music, from the establishment next door, but not overly an issue. Swimming pools were excellent. Food was good especially the A La Carte Fusion restaurant. What made the stay was the attitude and helpfulness of the staff. Special shout out to Stergia & Sara in the main restaurant, and Fotino & Liana in the bars who were all fantastic in looking after us and were so cheerful, especially when they weren't always spoken to in a nice manner by some of the guests!!!.
