We've just returned from another fabulous 10 day holiday after going for the first time last year. It was lovely to be recognised by the staff again. This year I had a massage from Katerina. So relaxing, well worth it. As we come late August the sunbeds are fine. We're not bothered about being at the front so we got the same beds everyday about 10 past 8 then went straight in the pool! Food is amazing and plenty of choice. We ate at the Al a carte once. The mains were amazing but weren't to fussed on the starters but that's all on us. The entertainment was good again. My son took part in the karaoke singing chicken banana! Loved the bingo and the music quiz especially. My son joined in the mini disco but only 2 songs that he likes. We take our own insulated cups to fill with water, ice tea for my son, throughout the day. I crocheted my own coasters this year as soak up better than the paper ones but that's just me. Definitely caused some amusement. Big shout to Nico, Dimitrius and Natasha on the bar (forgot the other guys name!). Highly recommend and just booked again for next year!
We have just returned home after a week’s stay in high season. Really had a lovely time. Food has been great mostly, plenty of choice, lovely salads, fresh pizza, pasta, they have theme nights such as Greek night, Italian night etc. Drinks were okay, standard all inclusive drinks, white wine was nice. Room was lovely, we had a sea view and it was spacious with a double bed and a single bed, lots of storage, bathroom was a nice size and it was spotless, cleaned most days with change of towels, good air con and mini fridge with coffee/tea making facilities, view from room was amazing . There was no subbed wars, I have seen other reviews to say it has that and it worried me a little, but 100% there were sun beds still available at 10am, the ones directly at the edge of the pool do get reserved at 8am but if you’re not bothered about being at the edge of the pool then there is no rush; and you can not reserve beds before 8am. Entertainment was good too, although the mini disco drags on late until 9.30 we would have loved the entertainment to start earlier. The staff work very hard, and the hotel is clean. Beach is a stone throw away and its pebble beach so take sea shoes; but it’s lovely. I would recommend this hotel and have really enjoyed our stay. 😊
I had an absolutely wonderful relaxing massage with Katerina at the Atlantica Princess Hotel in Rhodes. She was incredibly professional, attentive and warm, and the whole experience was truly relaxing from beginning to end. The massage was exactly what I needed — gentle, soothing and perfectly performed. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Katerina has a real talent for what she does, and I would highly recommend her to anyone staying at the hotel. Thank you, Katerina, for such a lovely experience! ❤️
A lovely hotel in Lalyssos. The staff are very helpful in all areas. They are professional and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The kids entertainment is very good due to some of the entertainment staff who work hard to give the kids a good time. The only drawback was the all inclusive drinks which were a bit under par.
We Enjoyed this better and better as the days went by, but initially we did not have such a good experience as many others have described. Well, we got our room a couple of hours earlier, which we were grateful for. We had a house on the second floor behind the hotel itself. Spacious, quiet and efficient AC, comfortable beds. However, no view. The hotel is close to the sea but a bit away from most shops and restaurants. Wifi worked great.
The hotel feels a bit undersized for the number of guests, and with only one bar there is often a long queue. Be sure to queue in the right direction! I was clearly reprimanded the first day.
Pool: The pool is too small for the number of bathers. Especially with many large inflatable mattresses etc. Only two pool towels were left when I went to pick up our four. The pool was still supposed to be open for a couple more hours, but it was possible to sun dry. Room towels on sun loungers are not allowed and are removed by the staff. The toilet by the pool, where you are clearly directed to when you are at the pool area, lacks a working lock.
Booking of sun loungers is allowed from 8:00. By that time, most sun loungers are already booked. There were always at least two sun loungers next to each other for the four of us, so since we followed the rules, only two were booked.
Eating: The staff at meals on the first day were impossible to get their attention to get something to drink. It got much better later after I pointed this out after lunch on day 2. During the end of our stay it was very easy to get want you wanted. However, there were sometimes sloppy drink orders during the week: often something was missing or wrong. [ ] Dress code that is taken seriously, I thought that was nice. However, it only applies to men. I wore long pants but my sleeveless t-shirt was not approved. I had to go and change into something that covered my shoulders. Women, on the other hand, can wear any length or width. Food. The selection is a bit limited compared to many other all-inclusive hotels. They are extremely attentive to gluten-sensitive people, and they often ask about your wishes. Many thanks!! Special section for children and for vegetarian food. Very little fish. One fish dish at dinner, but not always something at lunch. Of course, all-inclusive does not mean everything at the bar. A lot of things cost extra, such as sparkling wine. Otherwise, the drinks and other things tasted good. Ice cream can be had at any time of day.
Cleaning only started on day four after I had explicitly asked for it at reception at lunchtime.
The animation team works hard to offer activities. Thank you! Billiards costs €2 to play, which feels a bit stingy. There is a ping pong table but it is occupied most of the time. We enjoyed our stay after a few days but I do not plan to return again.
