DAndrea Mare Beach Hotel

Firstly I had another hotel in this area booked months ago but after coming across D'Andrea and reading the reviews I changed our bookings even though this hotel was slightly more expensive .I was so happy that I made the choice .Especially good was that it was compact so the kids 3 & 4 could go around alone and we could find them easily also for us everything was in a close distance ..From the very quick ,helpful and friendly check in with our 3 rooms .We arrived early but we were alowed to use all facilities and food .Our rooms were upgraded with pool and sea views and we received a family room instead of double & the rooms were well cleaned everyday .To end the holiday we have been allowed to keep 1 room until 13.00 free of charge ..My daughter came 2 days later on her honeymoon and they were given a plate of sweets & cava and it made the weekend special .The entertainment team and all the girls & guys were incredible .Each from another country each one doing such a good job and very chatty and interesting as well .I personally never do any activities on a vacation .This time I was doing water arobics and water zumba everyday and joing in at the end of the kids disco .The kids club was fun for our granchildren 4,3 even 1 years old .The evening entertainment was excellent especially .The Bruno mars evening and the South African group were a 1st class international act We were blown away .( they found out about any special occassions of guests before hand and congratulated my daughter and son in law on being on honeymoon)The dance group were also enertaining although the first dance with masks was frightening for children and I could here the adults around us saying it wasnt nice ..Food ,Remembering this hotel is doing large catering numbers its not fine dining - Breakfast was outstanding .and dinner was very good especially the far East evening and Italian evening .Especially good if you dont have any diet restrictions and there was plenty vegetarian food .Lunch was more basic and the snack bar was good .although as other people said maybe chicken nuggets and a veggie option should be added .we never had to wait for a table and we were 10 people so we pushed tables together .All the staff from housekeeping to restaurant to bar & front desk were so friendly and smiling it gave everyone a good homely feeling ..One think we felt that wasn'nt in other reveiws was that the standard of guests was 1st class We spoke with so many people from all over the world and the hotel was always quiet .No pushing at meal times or at the bar .We left our bags on the chairs when we were in the pool or went to lunch and we felt safe that everything would be there when we got back The complaints about the planes It didnt bother us and the kids loved them .But if you read reviews before you book here you will know about the planes so book the other end of the island if its a problem ..Anyway we finish our vacation with a heavy heart but lots of lovely memories and hope the hotel keeps up the good work as its not just the building Its the staff that makes a hotel good or bad and here they picked the right staff .

Hotel is amazing, very beautiful, The bar staff is amazing especially Marta and nikos, we will defenitly Come back
