Atlantica Dreams Resort

This was our second trip to Atlantica Dreams and our first with a baby, and honestly it was our best trip yet. I saw someone write a review before we visited saying that the hotel had completely lost it's exclusive vibe and that it was way more family friendly, and at the time from our previous visit I thought they couldn't be more wrong. But after visiting this time, I do have to agree - and couldn't have been happier about it. It really is a wonderful hotel for families and babies. There is so much to do and see for all ages, including our 9 month old. As always, the food and drinks were lovely, the staff overall great and the vibe still relaxed and a lovely setting. But I also can't believe how much of a family and baby friendly hotel it is. We had a family room with a swimup, meaning our little one could nap and sleep in a separate area of the room to us with sliding doors. The crib provided was perfect for what we needed. Mealtimes were also so easy. Our little one is weaning currently and also has a dairy allergy so I was sceptical as to how much he'd be able to try. Breakfasts were super easy, with omlettes being made fresh and without milk specially. If there were no bananas out, staff were always happy to see if they could find any for us. We also really enjoyed our lunches at kuzina where he loved the pitta! The high chairs are IKEA style, and exactly what we have at home so ideal. The waiting staff would always say hello to him and if he was being difficult you didn't feel unwelcome. It may have just been the time of the year but there were A LOT of babies around during meal times, which whilst great for us - I can imagine could be annoying for others. The splash pad was also great, even if slightly dated looking. The highlight by far was the TUI kids/tots club. Our little boy enjoyed a stay and play to start with and then continued to join Hope and Isobel for 6 sessions over our stay (2 hours at a time). The girls were just wonderful and can't recommend their care enough. Our little boy hasn't started nursery yet and I still had every confidence leaving him in their care. And he had the absolute BEST time. There are money saving options for blocks of care, but in all honesty it's super cheap for what you get anyway. We also came home with a little scrap book of crafts and pictures which was a lovely keepsake. The TUI team also had other sessions running across the week for all ages to join in with parents. It was the perfect respite from the sun and really helped break up the day whilst doing something we knew he loved and found beneficial. We've said we can't visit again for a few years as don't like to go to the same place twice, but honestly it's really hard not to!

We have been to many hotels and this has come out top for us on this visit. From the moment we arrived the staff were great, friendly, helpful. The drinks, food and service were just amazing. One special mention goes to Dimitrios (he had a knee support and Hahahahaha tattooed on his arm) who works on the pool bar (kuzina bar) this guy made amazing cocktails and always had a smile on his face and did not stop at all, he always even when serving others made time to chat, it’s the smallest touches that impress also Fon who was serving the food at the same bar again always smiling and makes a difference. If hotel management read this please tell him thank you. Our room was spotless and very spacious. The whole of the resort was so clean. At times the bar can get busy but we never waited more than 5-6 minutes at the lobby bar. We will definitely go back.
